I am looking to have quicker throttle response.  I am planning to increase engine compression from 7.0:1, by using 8.0:1 pistons.     I will be using my original ECU.  Will this affect smoothness of idle?  Will this cause my engine to run lean while running under boost?  Is there any negatives when increasing engine compression?  

Indy's Rebuild -- Gasket Set   I met with a machinist this morning to start discussing my engine rebuild.  Looking thru my notes I suggested the following gasket combo...
