Power amp wiring ?

I'm preparing to install my subwoofer. I was checking for an easily accessible entrance through the firewall to run the power cable for the amp. It looks like most of the wiring runs through the fender (ugh!)
What have most of you done or what is the most popular method for this procedure? I'm not trying to hack up my ride. Thanks.

I didn't know what forum this belongs on, so I put it here. http://www.kipanderson.net/rs/hobbs.htm has a cool concept(if it really works). I just wanna get some input on it from you guys, because someone on this board probably knows ALOT more about this than me : If it works, it'd be really cool. If it don't work, oh well.

i am planning ahead for my next Quest. i want to run american racing torq thrust II's. i think i'll go with a 16X8 in front with the same offset as the factory 8" front wheel. for the rear, i can either go with an 8" with factory offset, or a 9.5" with custom offset. of course, i would rather run the 9.5". i am assuming that the extra half inch (versus the factory 9" rim) will all have to go towards the outside of the rim (making the rim fit like the factory wheel, but sticking out from the
