Bigger Fuse wires

I had my ignition fuse melt on me a while back, so I put a 10 or 12 guage wire in for the new connector. The old was is more like a 18. It's located in the fuse block by the battery, it has 4 fuses in it.
After i did this, everything was brighter, moved a bit faster, etc, and there doesn't seem to be any problems, but is there a risk when running lower guage wire for fuses? Cause it just seemed to help...

Haltech + TBI?

Long term I will be going MPI. Short term I want to install a wideband o2 with data logging, which is $500 and would be redundant once going with an ECU like haltech. So, now I'm just thinking about installing the haltech or other ECU that offers wideband + datalogging to drive my stock TBI system. Thoughts? Anyone done this?

 This is a 97 Pontiac Grand Prix GT I'm doing for a friend. The paint started bubbling about a year ago and it quickly turned into this:

 The funny thing with rust is that there is always way more rust than you can see. First you should start grinding w/36grit to see what you have under the paint. Af

How much work does it take to put a skyline bumper/airdam on our cars? I have seen quit afew and would really like to know. How about making molds for f/g or c/f? just curious
