Got it from a friends wrecked 240SX--So you know what that means--no instructions, just the controller and no extra wiring. WTB alternator for 88'. Doesnt need to be working, but in rebuildable condition. DOes it matter what year? Did different years have different plugs?

this seems to be becoming a problem with a few people. bad sellers catching new guys. it would be nice if there was a "reputation" feed back under the avatars with a feed back rating.   on http://www.one18th.com (one of the RC car forums im on) thre is a reputation field that goes with the person each time they post. On that site it goes so far as to do seller feedback, how helpfull their posts have been, and a few other things. most of us who have been on the forum for a while know how to check
