My hood release cable broke this morning. Thanks to the forum and a nice picture from 89PalermoSHP of the hood latch. I was able to get up under the car with a steel rod and open the hood. Thanks.

Just got home from vacation, so glad to see my quest and (new to me) starion I bought just before leaving. Can't wait to start checking the starion out and giving her some love. Wished I had met another member down in Cajun land while I was there. Anyone near Lafayette, LA for next time maybe?
