I have an aluminum one, but cant weld that to my IC piping. Anyone know where I can get one?

ok i have some problems that are kind of wierd. i am running a red top aptima a alt rebuilt about 6 months ago. well i had a problem with my alt wire from the batt to the alt wire frying. soo i replaced it with a piece of 8guage power wire for stereo installation. well the other night on a ride home the crappy ring terminal i used fried. soo i put some 4guage wire in its place and soldierd the gold plated terminal to the wire. sholdnt be any problem right... on the way home tonight driving dow
