This is how we prime an engine after rebuild.   You may want to get one of these if you do quite a few engines, or make you own   Here is the tank. http://www.enginemachineservice.com/prime2.jpg   We attach the hose to the front fitting of the block....       http://www.enginemachineservice.com/prime4.jpg   http://www.enginemachineservice.com/prime1.jpg     The tank is filled with oil then pressurised to 100-120 lbs shop air. There is a valve on top to release the pressurised oil..
