Looking to pick one up...what's the most common one you guys use on your SQ?

Hi all, before I dish a crap load of money into my conquest I need some help. Bought an 87 wide. Had a knocking noise and rattling noise. Changed the timing chain and tensioner with it. Rattling went away but the knock is still there. Here's the deal. It only knocks when warm, and only knocks around 2k to 4k and that's it. Has a non jet valve head with hydraulic lifters. Any idea? Oil looked alright to me as well.

So I need to do a Oil Drain Pan Plug Thread cause I strip it. So I need to know what is the size I need to re thread the oil pan. I can't seem to find nothing on this please I help.
