Swap has been started - Yamaha 3.2 V-6 - with problems :)
By Matt W,
I'm working on a swap that I will need some chassis advice on. My swap consists of putting a turbo'd SHO (Yamaha V-6) engine into my 1988 Conquest TSi. The stock engine support/cross-member will have to be removed to make this happen. What I need advice on is how to go about moving the cross-member foward and at the same time, make it stronger. Another thing, is it possible to cut and move the main steering arm? Here are a few pics. Stock design http://www.mustangmods.com/ims/u/447/527/41265.
