  1. I'm selling my beloved conquest, car was my daily driver everything mechanical has been rebuilt or replaced with new parts. Motor has been rebuilt top to bottom along with a 89 transmission I had rebuilt car has 115k miles turbo has no shaft play and spools up great. Rare Atlantic blue color with no rust period. Only reason I'm selling is because I need the money bad car is almost finished all it needs is the wire harness swapped in and get a respray on the paint sense clear coats almost gone. This car is awesome and it turns heads everywhere I go but times are tough and gotta let the project go. Comes with a garage full of extra stuff including a almost complete brown/tan interior $2000 firm with all extra and rare parts to go along with the car $2500 with the louvers parts and extra set of wheels Located in union sc anymore info or pics pm me I have pictures on Instagram look up @hatchlyfe96 or pm me here and I'll be glad to send more info and pics over text message . 2. I have a 1986 Dodge Conquest 2.6L Turbo Engine for sale. This engine has been rebuilt and never ran. The head is ported and the engine has been blueprinted and balanced. It also has the following: Forged pistons and rods Knife edged crank ARP head studs Stainless steel valves Heavy-duty valve springs asking $1500 for the engine I also have the body, good condition, immaculate interior, completely restored...body is sand color, interior is red...asking $3000 I really want these to be bought by someone who will love them. Please contact Casey with any questions and for photos. mrs.casey.graves@gmail.com or (904)405-3473 ****I have a bunch of detailed photos, but I can't even load one, says every file is too big...please feel free to contact me, and I will email or text photos right away, thank you******
  3. Parting out 1988 Mitsubishi Starion Orland, Ca 95963 just off I5 90 miles north of Sac, 60-70 miles south of redding Would like to sell the whole thing. Wheels and tires are already sold. Take the whole thing for $500obo. Had a small engine backfire and burned a fair share of the wiring/throttle body area. Wheels, tires, turbo and intercooler are already spoken for. Body is in great shape other than the driver front fender. All glass is great except windshield. Mechanical: Has brand new kyb struts front and rear with adjustable ride height strut sleeves. LSD rear, 5-speed trans, stage 3 clutch, lightened flywheel. Motor had less than 20,000 on it, but would need to be gone through at least to replace gaskets and seals. Brand new walbro fuel pump. Custom full 3" exhaust with no cats and a 4.5" fart can muffler. You would have to make it adapt to your stock or an aftermarket downpipe because the way the person built it. Interior: Dash is no good, headliner is okay.. just burned the cloth off. Rear seats are salvageable if you can get all the melted plastic off. Rear panels are all perfect. Has the rear wiper fluid reservoir in perfect shape. Power windows and locks work. Hell even the stock alarm worked until the fire happened. Lol Can't really think of anything else. Comment on here or text/call me for more info. 530-519-8001 I have no clue how to add pictures, but I can't text or email them to you if interested Thanks for reading
  4. Hey guys, I'm not getting out of the game... just trying to downsize! I brought her back from certain death a couple of years ago, but it's time to pass her on to another enthusiast (now that the hard part is over ) I just completed an 89 SHP and my 89 Fiji build is next and I can't keep 3 cars so I have to let one go. This was my daily driver as soon as I got her road worthy. I let the inspection run out while installing the brand new head, so it's currently not PA inspected, but should pass with no issues at all if bought an titled in PA. (Clean PA Title as well) You will find there has been a butt-load done to this car. I'll do my best to explain what all has been done, but I'm sure I'll miss something, so here it goes: She's a 1988 Chrysler Conquest TSi (non-SHP) Rio/Mexican Red (123K on body, no sunroof)) Completely rebuilt G54B (bored .20, cooked, magnafluxed, line bored, decked, ) Balance shafts eliminated, Clevite bearings and used all Fel-Pro gaskets (approx. 25K on rebuild) All new timing components from DAD's site Motor and all accessories (timing cover/water pump/pulleys etc.) have been painted and/or powder coated Newer Automatic Transmission L4N71B from '89 (clean, with OD ...works great, recently replaced filter, fluids, inhibitor switch, linkage) Brand New HKS LET-M01 Cat-Back Exhaust System Brand new M28 NJ Head (approx 20 miles on it) , new seals, springs, stock valves and all hydraulic lifters ( sorry guys, the Mitsu logo VC will not come with purchase, black texture finish one will be installed in place of this one) New 650CC/950CC Injectors from Brian Lower Shores Performance (a cleaned set of 'stockers' from Witchhunter Performance will also be included) NGK Plugs (yes, the correct plugs) and NGK Plug Wires MK1 Chrome intake piping, and (I think.. a KD? OVCP) powder coated black mist with TSi decal Very new R1 Concepts Drilled/Slotted rotors and new hawk pads (all 4 corners) Blue 3SX Braided Stainless Steel Teflon Coated Brake lines (all 4 corners) Newer Tokico Blues all around (approx 10,000k on them) Polished rims (clear stripped/sanded and polished) Completely rebuilt stock 12ATurbo Heater Core has been replaced. Stock 89 seats, typical wear could use re-upholstering and/or seatcovers Mookeeh Blue Indiglo gauges Natallica's own HVAC overlay (with blue LEDs) Natallica's own Blue headlight inserts New Natallica's Outer Body Decals (black and black reflective) End links and sway bar bushings replaced Newer Dunlop Direzza 50/55 Series Tires (possibly more than half tread left) Newer uncracked/non-leaking taillights, very clean! Clear fog lenses with new bulbs Newer windshield installed (used, original was cracked) Sony Digital Media player Bluetooth head unit with 4 all new Sony Xplod speakers (no CD, plays mp3 players in TuneTray (steering controls will work with addition of PAC-SWI box Brand New Power Antenna unit installed, functions perfectly as it should And last but not least, door panels were upgraded with 'completely refurbished' 89 Auto-Down window switch and passenger side window switch. http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/DSC01182.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/DSC01200.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/n8tallicaandLilith_zps20768afb.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/DSC04286_zps865f4762.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/DSC04288_zps00177316.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/DSC04293_zps205cbc6a.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/DSC04290_zps361fbadd.jpg I cared to much for the work I put into this car, it has never been sideways and I never drove it like crazy. I just enjoyed the normal 'snappy' driving and the looks and questions I would get. I loved this car too much to dog on it, so no worries there. AC was non functioning when I purchased the car mpst of it is still there but I never had it gone over and charged. ABS unit still works. This car was supposed to be painted Blue, hence the under hood already being finished. Not the greatest job in the world but it looks a lot cleaner than it did, I just never got around to getting her painted. Other projects took precedence and this was 'function over form'. To be honest she could use a coat of paint but a little Meguiar's body scrub still goes a long way with her, just hasn't been done for a while, she's starting to show her pink. I have most all of my receipts for this build for the buyer and I hope there is enough information here for you, if you can think of any questions, feel free to send me a PM and I'll be glad to assist! Buyer would set up any kind of shipping or transporting of vehicle via truck or trailer, however the car runs fine but due to the fact it's not inspected it's not legally allowed on the highway so unless you're local and willing to take the chance of getting busted, it may be wise to rent a transport to get from A to B (however I'm sure for test drives we could shoot up and down my road, should be a problem) I'm asking $3800 OBO for her. Like most cases, I have almost double this in it, but I know I'll never get that back, and that's cool. Due to this private sale I'm offering her up AS-IS, no warranties are implied. I'm sure it's common knowledge around here, that this is normally the case but I just want to throw it out there. If interested please PM with your information and hopefully we can work something out! Thanks for looking fellas! Hope you dig her as much as I have, but gotta move on to the next one -N8

  9. I am 17 and I am looking to buy my second car. I am selling my '90 325i (which I loved) and I really want something new. There is a Conquest TSI for sale just down the road and I am REALLY interested in the car. The more I look into these cars, the more I want one. The one thing that is holding me back is something that my brothers friends told me. They are experienced when it comes to cars and they said that it would be difficult to find parts (especially new parts) and if I did, they would be very expensive. I would really love to have one of these cars but if that is the case with parts, I don't know if I can afford it at this point in my life (minimal income). How much truth is there to their standpoint on these cars? Are parts really that expensive and rare? Is it even realistic for me to consider this car? (If it is reasonable, I will probably return with tons more questions!) Thanks in advance!
  10. Hello there! This isn't my first post on SQC, but it is my first since I actually acquired my new ride. Unfortunately she's a loooong way from showtime, but for a 25 year-old-car, who really expects that. I did, however, overpay for this lump. It's non-running and I dropped 2 grand for it.... oops... but it's quite rare in my area so well worth it in the end (so I hope!) Well, here it is in all its 80's glory. My 1988 Conquest TSI On the farm where I bought it from... this thing was REALLY DIRTY http://i.imgur.com/l9W6p54.jpg After I cleaned up a bit and got it into a garage, unfortunately not my own garage so my time here is limited. http://i.imgur.com/lAmB1YD.jpg http://i.imgur.com/k7DZ2np.jpg http://i.imgur.com/mNKOjxs.jpg I was told that this car just needed a new head to make it run well, but that sounded waaaay to good to be true... This thing is a pit. He included a new head in the sale, but I have yet to see it so i don't know what kind it is. The wiring in this is especially bad. It's poorly laid out, disconnected in random spots, cut in places, etc, but no frays and it looks to be all there still. Disconnected that ridiculously complex air intake system (seriously, what's the deal with that huge thing anyway?!) so I could actually see things better... The turbo is brand new OEM but the intercooler is shot. There's an aftermarket blowoff valve on it, but for some reason the previous owner left the old one plugged into the wiring system...why did he----?! http://i.imgur.com/82qIhYZ.jpg Then, after pulling the valve cover, I was really shocked. This valve-train looks brand-spanking new, doesn't it? Why would the owner say it needs a new head? Guess I won't know till I pull the darn thing off... The valve cover even looks new-ish. What are all those little threaded holes in the valve cover? Is there supposed to be something in those? They don't line up with the head, but I don't think it would be a good idea to have oil spurting out of those after all is put together again, haha. http://i.imgur.com/xs6OQ6X.jpg http://i.imgur.com/rqU8GiR.jpg To put this whole thing simply, I bought a project car that I don't even understand, lol. I have 0 experience with engine work so I'm relying on friends and forum members to get the car back on its feet. To make matters worse, I can't even drive a stick yet. But... we'll see what happens. I don't have any big plans yet besides getting it running, but i'd like to go for something more rally-inspired as I've always been a huge fan of rally racing and the Starion has "some" roots in that motorsport. If you guys see ANYTHING that looks wrong, missing, or out of place, PLEASE let me know!! Thank you! And if anyone's interested, this is what I'm stepping over from. This is my daily driver: http://i.imgur.com/CYUt1GJ.jpg
  11. well my name is Max and my love for Starquests started when i got my first car 3 years ago a 1990 Eagle Talon TSI AWD (Which i built and still have today) which made me look into Mitsubishi's history and thats where i discovered the starquests which i instantly fell in love with just how they look and everything about them and that they where RWD. So as time went on all my friends where buying and building 240sx's for drifting which i really enjoy but could rarely do because i dident own a RWD car so one night while i was drifting with some friends on forza 4 with a starion i started throwing the idea around that i should actually buy one and everyone was like you should im sick of seeing 240 after 240 i mean dont get me wrong there great cars but everyone and there grandma has one and i wanted to be unique so the next day i posted on facebook if anyone knew where one is for sale and within 10min i got a reply from a buddy of mine in portland who said he knew a guy who has a widebody for sale so i got in contact with him and sure enough he did have a 87 widebody for sale but it had a rod knock but that wasent a problem for me (iv built a good amount of engines with great success) so i asked him for a picture and he sent me this http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/toyotagt1/my%2087%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/IMG_4465.jpg i know its 2 colors but i dident care i fell in love with it. The body was in great shape and so was the interior so i told him ill take it. That weekend me and my buddy went up to portland and pick it up. The guy i bought it from was very nice and was sad to see it go but he was happy it was getting a good home and he through in a bunch of parts like turbo door handles, extra fenders, hood, manual seat belts, hard pipe with a turbo xs bov, full 2.5in exhaust and a bunch of other stuff. So right before we left he asked me if i wanted a 84 flat body parts car that has everything except a motor for $100 i told him sure so not only did i get a 87 widebody i got a 84 flatbody within 1 week crazy to think so now on top of having 5 dsm's i have 2 starquests. So when i finally got home i cleaned her up and she looks good even being 2 colors P.S. if anyone has white widebody fenders, airdam and front bumper that they would want to sell that would be awesome i already have a white hood but am looking for a 83 hood http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/toyotagt1/my%2087%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/IMG_5122.jpg http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/toyotagt1/my%2087%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/IMG_5126.jpg http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/toyotagt1/my%2087%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/IMG_5121.jpg http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/toyotagt1/my%2087%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/IMG_5119.jpg so the next weekend me my dad and my friend pulled the engine which looked to be in pretty good condition which only took 30min to pull love how easy this engine is to work on http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/toyotagt1/my%2087%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/IMG_5129.jpg so after tearing apart the engine we found some good things and bad things. Good we found out that it has the 2.5l non jet valve head with a new deck and a 272 cam with ARP head studs http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/toyotagt1/my%2087%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/IMG_5131.jpg Bad is i found a bearing in the oil pan with alot of metal so on further inspection it was the oil pump balance shaft bearing which in turn froze the pump from spinning which stripped all the teeth off the oil pump gear and snapped the chain so it was driving with zero oil pressure which caused a bearing to spin causing rod knock crazyhttp://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/toyotagt1/my%2087%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/IMG_5133.jpg so when i finally got the engine completely apart i found out that it defiantly needed bored and the crank needed to be polished. The next day i took it to my machinist and we decided to go .020 over on the bore and .010 over on the crank so that night i bought everything i would need to rebuild ithttp://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/toyotagt1/my%2087%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/IMG_5173.jpg http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/toyotagt1/my%2087%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/IMG_5170.jpg so after getting everything back from my machinist it was assembly time which went really smooth except for the freeze plugs which where a pain in the tail to find all of them but when i did it was on like donkey kong so i got it fully assembled, removed the balance shafts and painted the block blackhttp://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/toyotagt1/my%2087%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/IMG_5367.jpg http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/toyotagt1/my%2087%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/IMG_5375.jpg http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/toyotagt1/my%2087%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/IMG_5379.jpg http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/toyotagt1/my%2087%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/IMG_5427.jpg when i was done assembling the engine we put her back in her rightful place and hooked everything up http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/toyotagt1/my%2087%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/IMG_5438.jpg http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/toyotagt1/my%2087%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/IMG_5444.jpg well after we hooked everything up we where putting fluids in her when i noticed there was a puddle of break fluid on the ground and i tracked it the slave cylinder was leaking badly so now im just waiting on a new one to come in but in the mean time we started the engine which started on the first crank and ran perfectly we set the timing and turned her off because i want to be able to drive her to break the engine in properly so thats where she sits until hopefully Monday when the new slave comes in. A couple of days ago tho my friend and i went to Corvallis to pick up his 84 starion which i went to get some goodies he had collected over the years like a full set of 5 lug wheel that where in great condition, a turbo hatch window, widebody fenders, full black leather interior and i picked up a great condition 4G64 6 bolt wideblock for the future engine build. So now the car has 8's all around which i think looks great (wish they where SHP 9's tho) cant wait to get her lowered and driving update soon
  12. From the album: My cars

    meet at my house!
  13. I have a 1987 conquest project or rolling shell. It has some passenger side damage and needs an engine and a clutch. I have a tranny for it and some spare parts. It has SHP front wheels and full 3inch exhaust all the way back. Everything worked before the engine was pulled. I was gonna fix her up but thats not gonna happen anymore. Sunroof doesnt leak and interior is in good condition.$600 OBO located in woodinville east of seattle http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/cto/3338634723.html
  14. I've decided to go ahead and nominate my SQ for a new home. I've owned this car since 2007 and have invested lots of time and money to make this car as reliable as possible. The engine was replaced and rebuilt in 2010 and I've daily driven the car since. I'm selling it because I'm downsizing and unfortunately don't have the room anymore. I'm currently unable to complete everything on it, which means a lower much lower price than what I have invested. I'm most concerned with the car going to a good home where it will be appreciated and given proper care. Below are some details about the car and the various parts I've replaced or repaired: - The exterior could benefit from a paint job but the original coat (Shetland Beige) is mostly intact and waxes up nicely. Above average for it's age and definitely a great looking car from ten feet. The car was originally purchased in Buffalo, NY, so with that in mind, there is some minor rust around the edges of the rear fenders and a few spots on the side skirts, all cosmetic. Easy repair when choosing to have the car repainted. I've repaired the original 3-piece front airdam and is ready for a repaint if you decide to keep it original. - The interior is near perfect with no damage to seats, carpet, or dashboard. The car even has the original floor mats and trunk cover. It has a Grant mahogany steering wheel installed and a quality JVC head unit. - Both tie rod assemblies have been replaced recently and the car did receive a complete alignment. This was about 15K miles ago. Struts, shocks, mounts and springs are all original to my knowledge. They have been inspected, make no noise and show no signs of failure. The car handles well and very solid through turns. - Tires were replaced at 75K with Bridgestone Potenza RE960 AS Pole Positions. Fronts are P225/50R16 and rears are P245/50R16. Fronts still have 7/32" of tread, the rears will need to be replaced soon. - The engine was rebuilt at 74K in August, 2010. I did quite a bit of work to get this engine the way I wanted it. Machining was performed by R&B Mach. Parts installed are: magnafluxed rods; ACL Street Performance rod, main and thrust bearings, ARP rod and journal cap hardware kit; high-end balance shaft eliminator kit; six-piece timing set with new sprockets, guides, and plated links; Wiseco 8.0:1 forged skirt pistons; Ajusa metal head set; ARP head studs; ported M28 cylinder head with 21-4N stainless valves, Schneider 6610 high tension valve springs and heavy duty spring retainers; Schneider 274 hydraulic performance camshaft w/ new lifters; 1G Talon MAS and 89 ECU; 89 knock control box; Blaster performance ignition coil; rebuilt 14G turbo currently running 17psi; MK1 OVCP kit w/ Turbo XS Type-H RFL blow off valve; 2.75" custom exhaust and down-pipe; EGR, air conditioning and EVAP systems have all been completely stripped and removed. I didn't spend much time making everything look pretty, but it's all very clean and organized. I have also installed an AutoMeter 4301 vacuum/boost gauge to the stock instrument cluster. I've taken this car on several trips out of state with NO problems. The engine runs excellent and smooth with great power. I clocked 29mpg on a recent trip to New York with periodic boost. I haven't had the car tuned since the engine was installed. - This car has an '89 waffle transmission, new clutch assembly (240mm), and U-joints installed. No slop in the shifter bushings and all synchros are crisp. Swap was done at 78K and the clutch was replaced last month. There are a few issues with the car that I haven't yet been repaired: -The windshield has a completed crack 1/4 from the bottom. It doesn't interfere with the wipers or impede vision. -I've discovered a small power steering leak which appears to be coming either from the front seal of the pump or the return hose. Only seems to leak for a period after the engine is stopped. -The parking brake doesn't really hold the car well anymore. Still has resistance but the car continues to roll some. -The driver's side seat belt has stopped in the fastened position. I never attempted to disassemble and repair it. This is definitely a fine example of a daily driveable Conquest. It has a clear title and comes with lots of extra parts I've accumulated over the years. I'm located in the Triad of North Carolina. Will sell to SQC friends for $3500. You can reach me anytime at 336-862-9944 or send me a PM through here. If there are any other pictures you'd like to see, let me know and I'll e-mail them to you. 15. i just bought my first and second conquest a few months ago. im new to conquests, hadnt even heard of them until getting offered this one. i bought it and i am interested in building it up. i am a newbie when it comes to cars in general so help me not make a fool of myself. the deal i got on my conquest was what i believe to be an outragously good deal. i paid $1200 for 2 conquests. 1 is in near perfect running condition from what i have been able to test. the only things i have found on it are an echaust leak and i think it needs a throttle body rebuild because it appears to have leaked fuel in the past hard to say if it is still leaking or if thats already been fixed. the interior is all great, all the electrical works. It doesnt have AC thats been disconnected but it doesnt bother me too much. the 2nd car is a parts car and isnt currently running. i havent played around with it at all but the previous owner said it would crank over but would not run smoothly. the parts car doesnt have the intercooler or the front bumper but pretty much has everything else. i really like my conquest, its all stock as far as i know. it came with all the papers of the maintenance done over the years which is pretty sweet as well. also it has basically perfect body which suprises me. i'll be throwing pics up soon let me know what you guys think\ thanks for letting me in on your community -mike
  16. Im selling my 89car chrsyler conquest tsi. Its red has a black hood and air dam car is in really good codition. Runs drives 5speed. Shifts great I just installed new kyb struts all around New primwell tires all around All new belts Oil change. New fidanza clutch and flywheel Also a short throw shifter. 17. Seriously, can a lightly mod SQ be a reliable daily driver and not nickel and dime me to death? I'm not talking about a drag racer/drift machine... just a 30 mile a day round trip DDrver instead of a run of the mill civic, Saturn or altima. How many of you guys actually use your car as a daily driver? How many miles daily? Has it been reliable? What's the main issues you've had? Thanks for the input! Ikon
  18. I have a conquest tsi for sale, its still a project car but it is running. My father and I flushed out the radiator, dropped the tank on it and it was super clean, new fuel pump, cleaned the injectors and had them tested and put in new clips, had some welding done to the cadilac converter and put in a new oxygen sensor for the turbo. The tps needs to be tested because it may not be any good, because of the tps there is a slight hesitation in the car. The interior is ok, needs some work but not too much. Lights, high beams, signals, brake lights, and hazards work. Times are getting tough and gotta sell the quest-_-. If you are intersted or have anymore questions please ask for Steve Garcia @ 832-434-5503. I will try to post some pics as soon as I can. Thank you.
