FIRST AND LAST POST ARE CURRENT ONLY Looking for: -extra 4 and 6 bolt CV axles -Front roll bar bushing mounts (metal band that bolts anti roll bar to the frame) Not sure where to post dumb questions- My indicators would light up then stay lit and i could watch volt meter drop quickly Hazard flashers blinked but also made voltmeter drop on each click I replaced flasher unit and now the indicators flash but drop voltage, they start blinking quickly then blink slower and slower Is this dirty terminals? short? where should i start? thanks -Aaron

I am looking for an old spoiler. As long as it isn't completely trashed, condition isn't a huge concern. I want to see if my brother and I can fabricate our own aftermarket spoiler for a Starquest project we are working on right now, and I want a spare spoiler to experiment with so I still have the original if anything goes wrong. I don't want a brand new one, or really even one that is in great shape as there is a good chance it will get ruined. Save the nice spoilers for actual use. I'm not wanting to pay anything over $100, so if you have a rear spoiler you'd let go for about that (plus shipping) please let me know. -I love the duck bill spoiler as much as anybody, but I saw a pic of someone with an F40 style spoiler and I want one. --Alternatively if you know of an F40 style spoiler that fits these nicely, please let me know.

I am 17 and I am looking to buy my second car. I am selling my '90 325i (which I loved) and I really want something new. There is a Conquest TSI for sale just down the road and I am REALLY interested in the car. The more I look into these cars, the more I want one. The one thing that is holding me back is something that my brothers friends told me. They are experienced when it comes to cars and they said that it would be difficult to find parts (especially new parts) and if I did, they would be very expensive. I would really love to have one of these cars but if that is the case with parts, I don't know if I can afford it at this point in my life (minimal income). How much truth is there to their standpoint on these cars? Are parts really that expensive and rare? Is it even realistic for me to consider this car? (If it is reasonable, I will probably return with tons more questions!) Thanks in advance!

I've been shopping for another SQ since I anticipate I'll be selling a car soon. What I'd like to do is find one w/o a motor/trans and do a late model EFI swap, either an Ecotech or GM truck 2.9L inline 4 w/ added turbo to keep the layout the same. An alternative to this would be a performance rebuild of a stock motor. Option 2 would be to find a decent operable car that looks good. One of the main drawbacks is I want one w/ a sunroof & all AC components, at least the parts inside the car & I don't want a burgundy/red interior. It is black and a 5spd with a straight and solid body. It has been stored indoors for years until I sold the house. It is sold as a PROJECT. The motor and tranny are out. Here is what goes with it; complete '89 motor on a stand. original block. good transmission. 2 valve updated head. TEP cam. 16G turbo with upgraded piping. The extras for performance upgrades; JE forged pistons - new, lightened flywheel - new, 3 puck ceramic clutch - new, set of swirled/ undercut valves - new, Hybrid t3/t4 turbo - new, counterbalance eliminator, gasket sets...ETC. box loads of extra parts. I would prefer to sell as one project lot... if I am low balled I will part out on Ebay. (end of ad) I tallied the cost of the listed parts and came up around $2,700~3,100 w/o the t3/t4 turbo, so this looks like a good deal if it is as described. The bad news for me is it would be about $800+ to ship an inoperable vehicle and this presumes the seller will ship it and the parts will fit into the rear area. I emailed the seller some questions and will see if they respond. Is this a good deal? Any opinions as to the car or parts?

1987 Starion parts car with salvage title. This car was hit in the back while at an intersection at a dead stop. 68k miles on engine and transmission. Car does roll and was running when pulled into my garage 2 years ago but I have taken off the fuel injector and fuel pump so it does not run. The doors do not close so that gives you and idea of the damage on the back. There is no air dam on the front, I have used it on the one I have rebuilt but all the rest of the front end body parts are there. $600 is the price. I am not interested in parting out, I really do not have the time to mess with it. I also do have my finished car up for sale, it looks great and has 78k miles and everything works on it, even the antenna. It's been fun to work on in the past 2 years and have had a good time driving it, but on to the next project. Price on that is $6500. Hey guys, the time is closing in on wanting/needing to start my auto tranny rebuild for my new 89 Fiji. I have intentions on having MikeMeyerhoff do my kevlar bands and I was going to purchase a master rebuild kit and a new vacuum modulator form this site and a few other things, question is: If I'd like to do a complete rebuild, what all parts are necessary to replace? Aside from the Master Kit, I was also thinking of a bushing kit and a few of the gaskets and seals but I'm unsure what all I'd be needing. So if anyone reads this, and is really bored, head over to TransmissionpartsUSA and see if you can come up with a nice "build" list Just want to get everything I really need all at one time but I don;t wanna buy a bunch of things that aren't necessary either. Hello all, I am parting out my 1989 conquest. Car has 125,000 miles on it, all of the "New" parts have fewer than 500 miles on them. Did a lot of work on this car in high school, couldn't take it with me to college and haven't had time since "real life" has caught up with me. I am going to list the major parts and prices for those, anything else you want just PM me and make an offer, I would rather help keep another conquest alive than send good parts to the crusher. I will keep a list of parts that I have sold, or don't have as they come up. Also, The suspension/brake stuff will have to wait until later as I have to leave it on to roll the car around in the driveway. My plan is to part out as much as I can, then get the car on a trailer and pull the suspension/brakes/bushings and trailer the rest to the scrapyard. So I will update the thread with info on those parts asap. The fast I sell the rest of this stuff the sooner I can tear off the suspension. Let me know if you are interested, and I will keep you on a "waiting list" and you can have first dibs when I do pull it off. Interior stuff, I would like to sell it as complete as possible, but at the very least I would like to try and sell the smaller parts in pairs, but if it is going slow I will be willing to sell pieces individually. Exterior stuff- Everything has been sprayed with spray paint as a budget job to cover up any bod work. Front fenders have a tiny bit of bondy to fix door dings, otherwise are in pretty good shape, inside has been coated with por-15, Hood has a ton of bondo on it so its probably not worth shipping. Rear quarters have bondo, and had quite a bit of rust, not worth cutting out. Rocker panels are pretty good, little bondo, but not much. Front airdam had 2 small cracks in the corners, repair with 3m bumper epoxy, still holding strong. All of my mounting hardward was rotten so I used screws to attach it to the bumper, there will be 2 small holes up by the fog lights. I like doing package deals, so if you buy multiple parts I'll be willing to drop the price some for you too. Prices Do Not include shipping. I was gonna fix up my silver 8787 but found it easier to just buy a new one. So the parents are tired of having this out in front of the house. It has the 8 inch wide shp front wheels but 7s on the back. It has a straight through 3 inch exhaust and a turbo timer. I have a transmission for it so if you have an engine and clutch than you have a running car. Has some dents on the passenger side but thats the only body damage. I need to get rid of an 87 conquest I have sitting in my neighbor's yard. It is white with red leather interior. It is missing the top end on engine. block, wheels, sensors, complete body and full interior still there. I would like $700 but shoot me offers. I say parts only because the car has not been registered for 7 years and the guy I got it from lost the tittle when he moved. I did not want to go through the DMV hassle here so I was going to use it for parts. I am getting rid of my cars so I no longer need this. I will take some pictures as soon as I can.

Hey guys, The guy I bought my Conquest from called me the other night and gave me the number of a guy that called him asking about the guy who bought the car (me). I called the guy and he apparently has an 89 Conquest which he is going to drop a 327 into. Consequently, he is looking to get rid of the guts of his conquest, engine, computer, cooling system, etc. I told him I would call him back if i needed anything, but PM me if you need something. I found 1 Widebody Mitsubishi Starion and 1 Flatbody Chrysler Conquest. They are in the local junk yard and id get some parts for people if they need them. Neither of them have rims on them and the exterior of the widebody is dented on one side ( cant remember ) but id be willing to help you find those extra parts you need.
