  2. Doing some housecleaning after the install of an engine so I'll be putting some things up as they come. For now I have 2 TD05-12As for sale The first one (Labeled No. 1) was on the engine that was recently put into my car. I drove on it with no more than 50 miles before taken off and I am unaware of it's previous history. It performed fine. No bent impeller fins, no exhaust side cracks. Shaft has more than average side to side play, no detectable axial play. Works, but I would expect it to be rebuilt (or upgraded ). 90 shipped. The second turbo (No. 2) came off of the engine that came out of the car. It was my daily driven turbo and I serviced it myself by installing new internals (pictured below) Under 1k miles before the engine was pulled. Keep in mind I am not a professional turbo technician, but the rebuild was smooth and executed meticulously. Had no problems with it. No bent impeller fins, no exhaust housing cracks. No axial play, side to side shaft play is minimal and is expected to be so with no oil pressure. Exhaust housing has been very mildly ported in order to get rid of turbo ring. Needs a couple downpipe studs. 150 shipped. Wastegate actuators not included, but may list at another time. Feel free to PM at any time! Thanks for looking!   3. SOLD!!!! Hey guys, had this laying around and I'm upgrading to 16g so I won't be needing this one. If your 12A is tired or you're just looking for a really nice backup in case yours takes a poop, this is it, and at half the price of a used "rebuild candidate" 16G. All of the necessary parts were replaced with genuine OEM Mitsu parts. All of the housings have been cleaned/media blasted (glass bead) and cleaned in the parts washer. The center section was powder coated metallic black and the exhaust housing has been media blasted and cleaned up as well. This looks and spins like a brand new turbo! It hasn't been installed so filling and priming will be necessary when bolted on, however everything internal was polished and oiled during the build.   4. Getting down to the last few problems before this thing is about spotless. Only problem...I'm about out of cash to spend. My turbo is starting to go. Shaft has a bit of play side to side...not back to back though...and it's blowing oil like hell. This is my DD to college and gas to GET to college is bad enough. I don't have much to offer...maybe $100? Might be negotiable. I can rebuild my 12a but i would need an inducer wheel. Since I'm going to have to probably take the turbo off I thought i might would upgrade at least a LITTLE if possible. If anyone has a 14g or 16g that they're willing to pass up for not the greatest amount of money then that would be absolutely amazing. I'd rather go up from the 12a if possible. with the 16g being my most wanted, I might could do some kind of trade. Please help! Thank You, Charles C. Palka
  5. OK heres whats up. I just intercooled my flatty and there are 3 ports on the wastegate 1 of which has already been blocked off. the friend I got this off of said one should be left open and the other runs to the over valve cover pipe, but he cant remember which goes where so if someone could run out to there car and check for me or already knows off the top of there head and could let me know that would be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
