Well guys, I have been way to slammed at my shop, and have decided to sell the Starion... Here is roughly what I have to sell. 88 Starion, clean title, in pretty damn good condition. Interior looks NEW, except for front seats. I have an EVOVIII front seat that will go with the car that is basically new. First off, I am NOT interested in parting out this car in any way, shape, or form. Please don't ask. I want to sell it all together to one person. I removed the motor and sold it off, but kept all the A/C stuff, etc. for the swap. Tranny is in great shape. I have a set of 9" SHP wheels for the rear, and new front air damn, and front trim piece. The block I have is a 2.4L in awesome shape out of a Mightly Max PU, complete. The head, and top end is off the 92 TSi that I parted out. I have everything from that motor including the entire wire harness and computer. I also have an almost new EVOIII16G that has been ported, as well as the Turbo XS BOV for the car. The motor needs to have custom Wiseco pistons fitted, etc. and get all the timing components for the swap. You will need motor mounts, etc. also. Basically all the basics are here to build on hell of a car, like I would do if I simply had the time... I don't want the car to be parted, etc. I want to see someone build it. I am not looking to make any money on this sale, just get what I have into the project in parts and a couple hundred for the car... I have a tranny from my 88 Starion, I am doing the 6-speed swap, so I do not need it anymore. Shifted fine when I drove the car last. It is sitting in my shop. $250 Shipped.

The 2.4 6-bolt block holds up just fine when prepped right. (oil squiters mainly) I have a 2.0 crank, so I could build the 2.3 stroker, that many people are doing. I ran the MAFT on my 1G with DSMLink and it worked fine. I was making around 500 crank hp. I know what you are saying though about going with the MAP setup instead, I will keep my options open on that until the last minute. I am using the stock harness in the car, it will be mostly hidden. emj_304, I would assume shipping would be around $200-$250. These are fairly heavy. I would charge you $175 for the motor, plus $50 to crate it, plus the actual shipping charges. Let me know. Scott

I am slowly getting together my parts for the build. I still need the transmission parts, and new suspension. I am taking the block over the my machinist next week, as well as the head. I will take some pics and put them up next week. Scott

Quest4life, when I drove the car, the clutch was somewhat slipping, and it had a knock from the #1 rod bearing "disappearing". It shifted fine at around 6K, I would say it is fine, but cannot be 100% certain. I only want $100 plus shipping for it. Let me know. Scott

I pulled the motor from my car and just as I predicted, a rod bearing was gone. I am willing to sell the motor as is, disassembled. - OR - Take the motor to my engine builder and have it rebuilt with new bearings, etc. He would also be able to freshen up the head, for a completely rebuilt longblock. There is nothing wrong with the head, but a good valve job is always recommended or course. Best offer takes it as is, and I will discuss pricing if someone is interested in it being rebuilt. Like the title says, I have an 88 5 speed transmission for sale with shifter. I shifted fine when I drove the car. I will also include the Flywheel and clutch. The disk on the clutch needs to be replaced, but the FW and PP look almost new. First person to make me a REASONABLE offer takes it. I can possibly deliver or meet someone part way, for a fee. Well, I drove to Oregon the other night, and picked up a 2.4L block from a 90 Mighty Max. I have everything disassembled, and I am pulling the rest of the Starion parts I do not need today. I will post before and after pics tomorrow. Should be loads of fun... :roll: Scott

My motor is bad on the drivers headlight, so if anyone has a complete assembly in silver possibly, let me know. Scott
