I am swapping a 4g63 motor in my 1989 Conquest and am selling a bunch of parts I have laying around that I have no use for. The parts are out of a 1989 Conquest with 80,800 miles on the odometer. If you think any of the prices are unreasonable please PM me and we can see if we can work something out. Buyer pays shipping costs. 1988 ECU MD120197 (From 82k mile quest) $50 http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv215/dsmconquest/P1140550.jpg 1989 ECU MD120197 (From 80k mile quest) $30 *Its just the internals, no case. I had to use the case for my DSM ecu so I could retain the factory mounting. http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv215/dsmconquest/P1140551.jpg ARP Headstuds (used for 3k miles) $50 http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv215/dsmconquest/P1140553.jpg DISTRIBUTOR WITH CAP AND ROTOR $40 http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv215/dsmconquest/Quest%20Parts%20For%20Sale/P7170426.jpg STOCK IGNITION COIL $5 http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv215/dsmconquest/Quest%20Parts%20For%20Sale/P7170377.jpg INJECTOR RESISTOR $20 http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv215/dsmconquest/Quest%20Parts%20For%20Sale/P7190369.jpg AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WITH TORQUE CONVERTER (SHIFTED FLAWLESSLY WHEN REMOVED) $150

The price breaks down like this : adapter plate for GM trans-$500, torque converter that Buschur uses $1000, Brand new GM trans from summit $750-1000. GM turbo 400 trans are tough as hell and I bet it would be sufficient for some 10s passes.
-
I'm kinda wondering the price also. I was wondering if you ever thought about buying Buschur parts and adapter plate. He has a GM adapter plate. You can use a GM 4-speed and Buschur also sells the torque converter that he runs in his car. For around $2500 you can run the same trans setup as Buschur's 8.7 second 4g63 Quest.

What about just an OEM 84-89 style? I am not too big of a fan of the 83 style and was wondering if that would be all that's available. I just think the 83's look to much like a hotrod/rice hood. So what about 89 OEM?

I think I remember an old post that had how to relocate the climate control to below the radio. Can some one please give me the link? I would use the search function, but it always takes forever and usu. screws up. I just want to relocate it so I can fit an Apexi SAFC II where it used to be. Thanks in advance for the help.

I ran into some money problems lately, but I will send out my payment this week. FOR SURE. Hope I will still be accepted. THANKS -
I really didn't know what watts they were. One of mine blew out so I went to Auto Zone and picked up a 50 watt bulb with the same plug. When I got home and put it in, I noticed a big difference in brightness (cause one was 35 and the other 50). So I had to go get another one so they would match. Anyway, it looks a lot better and brighter, but I really haven't had a chance to drive it with them in though. Hope this helps.

I was wondering what the process of installation will be like? What will all be need for the instal other than what we get in the package (box) from GC? Is all the needed suplies there? Also, how much lower than stock can you go before you need chamber plates? I just don't want to have gap btwn the tire and fender. THANKS -

Do you think we should get the springs that he got that are 250s in the back and 400s in the front? I have heard that quite a few people have some trouble with them and was just seeing if should get these spring rates. Please relpy. THANKS -
One of my friends has the 2nd quickest 1g DSM in ohio, I think. It is fully built running the FP Red that has gone 9.90s without n2o. When he goes it two second he loses traction on awd! Quite amazing and it isn't efficient uintil about 25psi and doesn't have too much lag. Should have some 10s timeslips this year.
