( do you need this gone and that's why you are selling, or would you be able to take the money and wait a couple weeks for me to come get it? ) PM me, I can paypal the money. clear title? 8. This car was going to be getting a basic LS1/T56 swap, but unfortunately at the 3000GT/Stealth National Gathering last night my laptop was stolen from my car, and having a laptop is essential part of my life being an IT student, IT employee, and overall advanced computer user.... The laptop was worth 1k, and I'm not looking to make a lot off the car. I need enough money to cover my laptop ( I bought it 4 weeks ago and haven't even paid it off ) and I need enough to get a new one. I'm looking for 2,500 bucks for the car. Interior is in great condition, outside has a little rust, nothing horrible, this was going to be a full magazine quality car ( total project ) I just tripped across the car and had it in storage until I could do something with it. Ran and drove when I picked it up but the slave cylinder is dead right now. The car is currently 2 states away at Purdue, and I would have to have a friend show you the car. It needs gas/jump start, and air in the tires probably. It has 87k miles on it, and is in decent shape. From what I can remember no rust on the rails, just surface stuff... http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~mdibari/conquest.jpg http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~mdibari/conqest2.jpg I believe that is a reasonable price... I want to keep the car, but my career and education is more important and I have to have a laptop. I'm currently using my old desktop which just won't cut it these days. Feel free to call me @ 574-360-4684, I'll be happy to answer any questions you have to the best of my knowledge.
  9. What do you have in the works? 5.3 Liter, forged internals, 6.0 liter heads, and a cam. Plus a big turbo.
  10. Woot woot.. Join the club of turbo'ed v8 owners in their quests.... I'm starting on mine in a couple of weeks. I can't wait!
  11. I might be able to. Best case scenario. I am going to try and bring the car up with me, ( it may take a week or two ) I will do a compression test before I sell the car to anyone to make sure no one gets screwed and they know what they are getting before I pull it.... I have a pathfinder and could probably put it in there... I will let you know. I am moving this week to madison, so after things get settled I'll let you know. It's gonna be kinda hectic here.
  12. Car was running when I bought it. Oil pressure seemed good, started right up everytime... I have no use for it as a different motor will be taking its place... I can get pictures this week hopefully, I will be moving to Madison Wisconsin. The car is currently in West Lafayette, IN and will be moved to Granger, IN shortly. Feel free to ask me any questions, I don't want to give anyone a bad deal. I'm new to the conquests, and am doing a 5.3 liter swap. ( So no need for this motor ) Asking 500 dollars. The motor is currently in the car, I can probably have it pulled by this weekend. ( as long as everything goes well with my VR-4 ) E-Mail:mdibari@purdue.edu Phone: 574-360-4684
  13. Hi, I've been a member here for a while, but I don't really post much as I've always been working on my VR-4, but I would really like to get into the starquest area of things. I would like any 87+ or 88/89 SHP with a perfect body and interior. I don't care how the engine is, as I'll be doing a 4G63 swap, BUT I do want the interior and exterior to be near perfect. Needs to be black, white, or red. If everything is in perfect working condition I will pay up to 3,500 for the car, and if the motor is shot, we'll see where pricing should land. ( I'd prefer to spend 1-2k for a donor vehicle ) as I will be spending a good deal in the motor setup... Thanks, Matt Di Bari
