Started the body mods on my wife's 87 *UPDATED*
1stquesTSi replied to Burton's topic in Body and interior Mods
dude that is insane. deifnately ther best body mod ive seen on a quest. and the 1 piece bumper to airdam is incredible looking. it looks as if its completely stock looking by the quality of it. its too bad it has to be green, but if its her car ur better of painting it wat she wants. but once again. our home made body work is 10X better then a civic body kit any day (looks and quality). i find that crazy -
i just noticed something on the dyno sheet, besides th wierd torque and hp. undereath it there is yellow writing blurred out. maybe it sed it was a dyno off of a different car?

My aluminum console (nicer pics) better lighting
1stquesTSi replied to introubleagain's topic in Body and interior Mods
looks great. never seen real aluminum in interior b4. sum1 with a 240z dash in a quest? i dunno. my dad has a 240z and i have a conquest (both in garage hehe) and the 240z is quite about thinner exterior wise so i wouldnt see how it would fit. but ifi ts true i think ill have to steal his dash cuz thats one nice dash for and old car -
working on a new rear spoiler, need help
1stquesTSi replied to backslider's topic in Body and interior Mods
the spoiler it self looks good but i think it changes the back of the car too much. i dunno i like it and i dont at the same time. but it is sure better then an attached aluminum wing. -
yea....uhhh thanx pearl. im too lazy. except the first one duznt have the chopped roof and the ,missing fog light isnt fixed like mine is. (u can tell its from the aridam) lol thanx

probably me. i just got photoshop from my freind for free, which is sick. and ive been photoshopping pics of starquests. id send pics but im too lazy to load them onto 26liter.com. (btw, the pics i have that are photoshopped are these: sideview of a red quest with red inner stars painted on the rims, targa top, and extened front rear and side bumpers/skirt. the other pic is a fron view of a chopped roof, no passenger mirror (dunno y i did it), made the 83 hood have 2 holes (mongoose), removed the piece of the airdam under the intercooler, cut out the strip/grille along the front of the car to match the hood, and i removed the fog light to make it look like its missing like some drag cars.) dam thats long. ill see wat i can do with it if no one else can.

Started the body mods on my wife's 87 *UPDATED*
1stquesTSi replied to Burton's topic in Body and interior Mods
dude that looks amazing. very clean. the great thing about these cars and their owners compared to annoying ricers in their hondas is that we MAKE our own body mods and it ends up fitting better than those pathetic body kits on civics. (and isnt overkill) -
i kinda like that "vip" look. the rims look awesum in the first pic. but just too much chrome for me.
-
i dont know if this is stupid but wat about just adding flares to the rear. kinda porsche style with those huge flares in the rear and the front is more narrow. sounds cool/wierd to me.
-
not to be rude but i dont like it. if i were to add a vent off a car for my hood it would be from the 80's 300ZX's i think that vent would look alot nicer and it wouldnt get water stuck in it

wow. i didnt even know about that supplier before. where have i been? that thing is sweet. -
yellow hell did a photoshop of an airdam recently. heres the link: http://www.starquestclub.com/index.pl?boar...;num=1097676891 its pretty nice
-
personally i think big wings on quests look like crap. theres a white conquest i see every once in awhile with an aluminum wing on it and i think its hideous. sorry if i sound rude but thats my opinion. do whatever u want,if u like it then leave it on.
-
there exactly wat they say. mods u can do to ur car for free by taking off parts of the car etc. go on www.t-racing.com they have alot of them there.

http://www.starquestclub.com/index.pl?boar...;num=1091323480 ^there ya go^
-
thats pretty sweet lookin. i think when u get the grille you should paint it flat black as well (same with the wrap around reflecter pieces from the grille) those fog lights on the air dam are nice too.

WHO HAS PAINTED ANYTHING PLASTIC IN THEIR CAR?
1stquesTSi replied to Kreal's topic in Body and interior Mods
I used krylon fusion red. all i did was take out the pieces i wanted to paint, wash them with soap and water, dry it, then spray paint it. i didnt do any sanding or any extra steps, except i covered the emergency seatbelt light and the power mirrors light with painters tape. then after about 3 days of drying (should only take a day,but if u live in humid weather then expect it to completely dry a couple more days) then i put em back in. ive had the painted pieces in for about a month now and there is no chipping or runs in the paint. and it looks good too. -
what exactly o audi door handles look like?
