  1. $225 takes them both - cash and carry
  2. I have one good condition 7" front and one excellent condition SHP 9 inch rear
  3. I am also willing to entertain reasonable offers.
  4. I am selling a 9JX16 rear rim. It is in perfect condition. The clear coat is flawless and there is no rim dis-figuration. There is a Z-rated tire with good tread on it, but I can't make any guarantees about the quality as its older. $200 I also have a front 7JX16 rim. It is in great shape, clear coat is in great condition with only minor flaws. There is a small amount of curb rash shown in one of the pictures. It doesn't affect the balancing of the wheel. The tire has almost no tread left. $125 Images are here: The first three are of the 7JX16, the next two are of the 9JX16. http://img19.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=dsc0562v.jpg These are located in central NJ. Pickup is much easier but if you want to pay for shipping, that can be arranged. email or pm me.

  7. Yes, as far as I can tell. The car only moves a little bit when put in gear.
  8. I have more pics as well, I guess this forum only allows 500k.
  9. This post is a work in progress as I have had this car for 21 years, it will take some time to remember all that I've done. I am the original owner of this Conquest Tsi 5 speed w/ 105,XXX on the original motor The clutch went on the car two years ago and it has sat in my garage since then. I don't have the time anymore to mess with this car and I think its time to give it a new home. Many items have been replaced/rebuilt, many of them OEM grade. This car has always been run on premium with Mobil Synthetic oil. I am not sure what to ask, so reasonable offers will be entertained. Rebuild/Mod include: New Head Gasket TB rebuilt All vacuum hoses replaced with silicone hoses new Turbo oil hoses cleaned/flowed injectors Talon MAF w/K&N filter Tokico shocks on all fours HKS lowering springs All silicone bushings newer TPS new heater hoses new coolant hoses rebuilt master cylinder die hard battery has 10k on it tires have only 10k on them, Bridgestone Potenza RE950 91H new vacuum advance HKS 3' exhaust - no cats Turbo XS BOV HKS MBC new drive belts new intake/exhaust gaskets rebuilt all brake calipers about 10k ago new rotors new pads Others: 86 Turbo Door handles Paint is about 3 years old with 15k on it (Maaco so nothing special) Turbo has no play, it spools and boosts perfectly Headlights are factory original - amazing they lasted 21 years. A/C doesn't work - never bothered to recharge it, used too much engine power. Stereo is very nice, JBLs in the back and polk components in the front. Sounds really clean. StarquestRims polished 7/8s. A good set of unpolished SHP rims. Off the top of my head thats whats been done. The interior on this car is perfect. No leather rips and it looks new. My father used to run SCCA in Indiana and was a two-time sponsored state champion in this car (90-91), so it has a 5-point RJS safety harness. That is also the reason the suspension was upgraded. As all these cars, the front facia is cracked. I do have two new original 87 left and right side front pieces. I always just did the front body work myself every year as it would last about that long. This car has been meticulously maintained. Every service has been done on it. The engine is very strong, 130+ psi in all 4 cylinders. Two years ago, I had the head cleaned/flowed when I was doing the gasket, the machine shop said its within 95% of the original specs and is spotless. Before the clutch went the car ran flawlessly and really strong. Since the clutch is gone, a local pick-up is best, otherwise a shipping arrangement will need to be made. Some of you might have seen this car in person, I used to be very active on this site dating back to the Pete Yack days, and this car has been to shows at Englishtown. Feel free to see the car, ask any questions.
  10. What else would have to be done to the heads, to get running, assuming we bought them with valves?
  11. Just got a radiator fan off Antonio. Great guy, sent it out right away and at a really fair price! Thanks for helping me keep my quest on the road! Thanks again! -Sam
  12. no, cheap mitsu system with speakers with surrounds that already fell apart.....put infinity speakers in place of...sounds much better
  13. Thanks for the reply cmann, u were exactly right, they came right out. Thanks for the non-conquest help, i really appreciate it! Sam
  14. Does anyone know how to disconnect the front dash speakers in a 94 Eclipse/Talon...I want to keep the original wiring but want to replace the door speakers.... on the conquest this was relatively easy, the speakers are easy to get to, but in the eclipse they seem impossible to reach!! Thanks guys! Sam
  15. Will 6.5's fit in the door, i have 5.25s in there right now and it didnt look like i could get anything larger sam
  16. Hi, Question on the factory setup of the door/dash speakers. I know they are wired in parallel and rated at 8 ohms. But is there a cross-over between the dash and door speaker, if so where is it located. Also where is the split off point from the head unit wire to the dash and door speakers. I already put new speakers in the door and kept the dash, it works fine, but I know the dash sound not as good, so im considering ways of replacing them and keeping my current door speakers. Thanks, Sam
  17. Also bought a set of polished rims from Mark. Very Very Professional man, and does hell of a job with polishing!! The rims were in immaculate condition. Would recommend Mark and the rims to anybody. Thanks for the great rims Mark. Sam
  18. Just wanted to let everyone know how cool of a guy Will is. I needed a "B" pipe for my exhaust in order to pass emissions here in NJ. He offered the pipe at only shipping cost, but when shipping turned out to be too much he DROVE the pipe to me in NJ!!! Got to talk with him a bit about starquests and this guy knows his stuff. Thanks Will for helping a fellow starquester out! Sam
  19. glad u have imagination, but thats a horrible idea. its a conquest/starion, made to look like it is......not some rice burner that has multi tone body parts so that u cant distinguish it from what it was meant to be. Sam
  20. I had my conquest repainted awhile back and they had to strip off all the stcikers. So now my car is unmarked. It seems that Mitsubishi Starion logos and emblems are so much easier to get.....but on a chrysler conquest.....? Would that be bad? Sam
