  2. i already have a gm mas and filter. same here, i had a tough time too. lots of lithium white grease. this would be my future upgrade. right now i'm still using a 1st gen eclipse mas and a cosmo filter. i hope it works out well for you and feedbacks would be helpful to us too. good luck!
  3. 599 or less for a universal kit, 899 or more for a bolt-on. do your research at, www.lambodoors.com or www.verticaldoors.com. good luck!
  4. Canadian Tire would have it. Bondo brand.
  5. nope. i'm 5'10" at 155 lbs. i fit on a junior sparco seat. i've got no problems getting in and out.

  8. i just detailed the car yesterday, i'll try to post best pics. i'll include shots of the sparco seats too (i installed last year).
  9. you help us, we appreciate. i'll take plain one. thanks!
  10. bolt-on is for people like me with minimal "technical knowledge" and "dollar store tools". you can always weld it after. mine, i didn't. install is very straight forward, borrow a grinder from a friend. 180 degree kit will definitely work. its universal. a body shop can do that. some measuring like where the holes are to be located is to be done. that part i feared the most...plus, welding. gullwing hinge is also universal. style not for me though.
  11. thanks! it hasn't happened to me, but yes that would hurt.
  12. yes. just the hinge was installed and fender hand-crimped inside. same cars, different people...different looks and mods. you would need some force to get it down, strong dampers keeping it up....it helps the door go slowly too when you get the momentum so it won't just "drop". car to be painted next year. thanks!
  13. starion tail lights? i need a pair. pm me if it is, paypal. thanks!
  14. very expensive. anybody has a used one out there? or next to impossible... thanks!
  15. same distributor but no this is NOT the diablo 90 degree kit. mine is the chaser evo autostyle bolt-on, same website - www.lambodoors.com i could still open it 2 more inches up, but come to think of it... you have to pull down the door to close it, so you have to set it so it would be convenient to reach it while trying to sit down. on shows, yes i'll adjust it 2 more inches up. aesthetics thing but i've set it more practical for easy reach. plus the upward force of the damper also "fights" with your downward motion....heavy duty damper man! thanks!
  16. want a clean pair of Starion tail lights. please post pics and cost + shipping to canada. i'll paypal funds.
  17. i paid around $1000 with ground fedex delivery to canada. i guess we pay for the technology, r&d, tool and die. for me, it's wll worth it.
  18. not really, a 12-pack corona and some chicken fried rice helped. what's tedious is the alignment, but you have two allen-bolts to adjust alignment that is integrated on the kit itself. one stops the door so the hinge won't hit the fender. one aligns the door to your door striker. i will take a picture of the instructions that i followed tom. very simple one-page instructions.
  19. yup. it was hard for me to believe 'cause i've been trying to get an email response for more than a year from the supplier and never got one. consider me as the guinea pig. i took the risk. direct bolt-on. to clear the hinge, fold the inner-lip of the fender. you don't even have to extend the door-to-fender wires. it is long enough. no welding, folding yes. you can't avoid that with a 25 lbs hinge each side.
