Hello all! I am the 20th? owner of Jahjah's ride lol! It starts fine but when you rev it it gets richer and richer and will eventually die. I looked and the injectors aren't leaking or dirty. No vacuum leaks. I've tried adjusting the fuel pressure. I've tried changing the maf. No luck? Its so bad you can't even move the car more than 20ft! If somebody could please help me it'd be greatly appreciated! Btw its a 87. **Update** Replaced tps and runs better. Had a ticking noise and found a collapsed lifter. Could that be the rest of my troubles??

Yep I was once in that same situation. I had a 310lph supra pump layn around and thought id give it a try. All I did was take the inlet tube and cut it were the pump and sock would hang at the right depth. Attached it with high pressure fuel line and used stainless straps to secure it to the return so it wouldn't bounce all over the place. Works great! Just drill you a hole in the top to run your wiring down to the pump and your set.

Is the intake and throttle body ported?

I have a 1987 conquest thats silver with a good body. there is a fresh 302 ford under the hood with forged flattops, alum intake, holley dp, ect.. Turbo headers go to a 67mm holset turbo and a ext wastegate. All this power goes to a "C6" transmission with a custom driveshaft. The car pulls very hard when the boost kicks in Track is too far away from me so im selling it. make me an offer. I'll trade for a fast import or a mustang that i could afford to drive to work everyday. Ok I only have internet on my phone and I don't know to post pics but.... I'm thinking about selling my conquest. Its an 87 with a 6bolt rear and a deicent interior. The car is silver with the body in excellent condition. It has a 302 w/ported 1970 heads,single plane intake, holley dp, with a 67mm holset turbo. Freshly rebuilt engine too! It also has a c6 tranny with a shift kit. Aluminum rad and electric fan. The car pulls really hard. Never had it dynoed though. It has a 3" single exhaust with a ricer muffler. Also has a carbon fiber autometer setup like timtsi. Neways what do u guys think I should ask for it?

I talked to the paint shop today and they said for me just to buff the car out.If I wanted to I could color sand with 1500 before that. Soo does that sound right?

You know I'm not for sure. This is the first car I've ever painted. I was hoping to get that kind of help too myself. I'm not sure what grit to start off with, or do I since this is metallic paint.

Ya I've wet sanded before. I just have never buffed before.

What do you mean by "alot of paint". 3 coats covered the primer. Then I put 4 more on. Is that considered alot?

Finally a year later I've got everything but the plastic panels painted. I'm using lacquer because I got it for the right price. Now what though. Do I wet sand and then buff the paint?
