  1. that sensor is an air temperature sensor. local friend of mine is running a tec-2 with everything done to his. I mean everything. Its so awesome, its not even funny.. not that yours isnt. He has his air temperature sensor right before the throttle body. Im guessing to get a more accurate reading. another local friend has a fuso intercooler in his 88 Starion, and has the same sensor. They might be common on those particular models. looks great mike. I dont think you are too far from "us" (: eheh.. love to catch you at a meet or something. we have a small "possy" and everyone has all kinds of mods. I cannot wait to hear how yours runs.. ie, dyno, street driving. -stiggity
  2. Mike: having a .60 a/r will be nice. Mine is similar in a/r #'rs and overall wheel sizes. Lag isnt an issue. Yours will run fine. I hear the Sunoco 100 octane race gas, has a good ammount of "butane" in it. Very nice for spooling... (: -stig
  3. Cobra: To add to the conversation. I "had" an HKS downpipe, into a 2.5" Cherry bomb, all the way back into a Magnaflow 2.5" Muffler/Tip. And got more compliments on that exhaust system, than ever before. Very quiet at idle, and a nice mellow/smooth sound during rev's. Once under boost,it sounded like a Jet taking off. PSHSHHHH!!!! no rumble, or crackle, just PSHHH.. Everyone would tell me "dude!, your exhaust is really loud" and it was all PSHHH! I now have a new setup from the cyldinder-head to the tip, but that setup was awesome. I was running a 19c from TEP. Now am running a T4 with a header, and External WG, 3" Exhaust. Oh, yeah, with 3" exhaust, it has to be done Right, or you run into clearance problems.. -stiggity
  4. Yes! I am friends with an outfit, who makes them about 2 houses down from where i work! eheh.. they call them "Inter-Freezers". The guy in charge took his equipment to the SEMA Show, and others, including the Carlise,PA Import Show (Which was almost a riot-in-action). I can get pricing, and availability if anyone is interested. And with CO2, there are a few more "Idea's" floating around here,. that will eventually end up in the Magazines.. So dont think the CO2 "scene" isnt going to fade-out.. eheheh some amazing results... -stiggity
  5. Tim_C I'm agreeing with you on this one. I have the marnel head, and recently had some work done to it by a total engine guru. The guy has more stuff, and builds more engines than I can believe. He builds are Aluminum Small Blocks, puting out 1.8HP/CI. He did work to my head, and when i picked it up he told me i should be putting out some decent power!! He also said it is very close to a HEMI-HEAD. And with the proper blower, and fuel the numbers should be very high. He was totally impressed by my head, and its design. And coming from him, i definately took it as a compliment. btw, on the Aluminum SB, we run 1 carb, and methanol as fuel. No blowers aloud, and Nitrous. Anyways, our race outfits engine guy liked the head, complimented me on the head, and its design, and thats alot coming from someone who lives, breathes, and eat's "Hi-Dollar" engine stuff.. just my couple'o'cents.. -Stiggity
  6. Hello: What if i didnt do anything with that check-valve, and left the ABS computer, and modulator intact. I mean i jumped the proportioning valve and Master Cylinder.. but for some reason, it was braking fine for 30+ miles, and then when i went to park at my place, went to back up, and i felt her sticking again. Maybe a caliper(s)? I bought the 20" 3/16 line from Advance auto for $2.50 and that was all that was involved. Also used some new brake-fluid, and did a complete bleed.... starting from the caliper farthest from the master-cylinder, and work your way to the closest. ehhe -Stiggity
