    Guys please don’t flame me as I haven’t read the countless threads on swapping in the 2J. I’m a MkIV owner for many years and have a few questions if you don’t mind! I have a low mileage 2JZ GTE and A340E and have been thinking about locating a nice auto Starquest to place the motor and tranny in. I have searched the A340E and have not been successful in locating any threads and wondering if anyone is using it? Also, are many folks running a factory MkIV ECT with piggy backs like a VPC/GGC combinations?

    How are things with the 2J project? I would like to do the same but I’m somewhat apprehensive at this point. I have several MkIV’s and an extra drive train hanging around that would be ideal. Have you figured out how to deal with the intercooler location? It would be very nice to see photos of your progress as the project moves along. My personal opinion would be to modify a TH400 and sell the 6-speed to cover the cost. If you want a super fast and slick setup that would be something to consider. Update us when you can! David
