[glow=red,2,300]TEXT[/glow] Guys i found a good alt for the starquest!!! I used the factory alt of an 1995 eclipse awd turbo the only thing you have to do is to jump two cables from the original harness to the corresponding "L" and "S" cables of the alternator it fits quite simply, and put some shims in the lower bolt between thw alt and the engine block, my car is runing whith two amps, radio, x-over, headlamps, and its pulling an amzing 13.3volts at idle. Just to let you know

My 86 dont do the up/down on the voltmeter because it uses a diferent gauge setup, but it does stops blinking at idle, an it charges -/+ 12.3v at idle with head lights, fog lights and radio on, mi guess is that the alt is too damn weak for all the amps draining the batery, because I replaced my (+) cable from the alt (8gauge), and I grounded all the car (about five 8gauge) all aroud the engine compartment, and still have the same problem; even my radio makes a humming sound when it reaches 12.1v at idling! >

I nedd to know the serial # for the GM alternator cs-130, or any other alternator that bolts in, because my alt. is charging poorly. :-[

Hey guys I tried to find here in Puerto Rico the AC delcoalt. but in the auto parts said to me tha those alts have a 9 digit serial number, I would like to Know if any of you have the serial# , because i have a really big problem I have my amps and my lights on and my altermnators` charge is in about 12.5v and that`s too poor, any other advice I`ll apreciate!

;D Thanks Shelby for the advise I`ll be getting a new pump very soon and i`ll notify any problem in mi starion.

??? is it 125 psi constant pressure, or a higest pressure it could get, what is the brand of that pump? I want to know because i have made recent changes in my car fuel sistem an i have a problem maintaining idle speed , i cant get a good idle below 80psi in the fuel sistem (i have 2 accel 83 lbs), but my pump (bosh roller vain) is going dead at 100-125psi. If someone could send me any advice in what fuel pump shoul i get , or someone knows what is my problem I apeciate the advices !

Well you could think on a 12V head and Multi Point Inyection. I think the first factor here is the damn TBI. >
