  1. Just put me down for two of the best 8 inch rear wheels left then without tires. I can Paypal on Monday night or can send a money order if you prefer. $90 shipped for the two wheels right? Mike mcrisfield@cox.net
  2. You don't happen to have any rubber on any of them? I don't care how bad the tires are I just would like to be able to mount the wheels (my track car has two spares on the back right now). I don't think SCCA will care as long as there are no serious bends in the wheels - just curb rash on the lip should be fine so if you have a couple of those I'll take em and if you've got two with tires I'll pay extra. Thanks, Mike
  3. I have a car I want to build as a track car so I don't care about appearance as long as they will hold up to SCCA inspection. What do you think? If so how much for two 8" rears shipped to 85220?
  4. Sorry guys but the home equity line of credit I applied for so I could finally fix my Quest was denied. I hate it since this may be the last chance to get Eibach springs EVER but as much as I would like to hope for a miracle by the end of the month it's not fair to everyone else so I will have to drop out. Sorry, Mike
  5. Put me down for a set (I just emailed you)!
  6. How much is shipping to 85220?
  7. How much for the boost solenoid (and the tube going from the solenoid to the throttle body if you have it), shipped to 85220? Here is a picture of the part I need: http://members.cox.net/mcrisfield/86%20Flatty%20Broken%20Part%20-%20EGR%20-%20SMALL.JPG Thanks, Michael mcrisfield@cox.net

  9. I just took some digital pictures of the head today: http://members.cox.net/mcrisfield/Alabama%20Head%20-%20Top%20View%20-%20Small.JPG http://members.cox.net/mcrisfield/Alabama%20Head%20-%20Valves%20View%20-%20SMALL.JPG http://members.cox.net/mcrisfield/Alabama%20Head%20in%20Box%20-%20SMALL.JPG
  10. Price is now $350 shipped anywhere in the continental United States. Paypal me at mcrisfield@cox.net and its yours. Michael
  11. The pads are listed as "metal matrix" on 3SX's web site so I'm assuming that means they are semi-metallic in nature. I only have one pair front and one pair rear pads but if you want to buy more you can get them from 3SX Performance for $115 shipped. Michael
  12. SOLD According to a member of this board he asked Dad (www.enginemachineservice.com), about when he will be getting these heads back in stock and "how much with valves and heavy duty springs and such he said 490 and no cam or rockers". So if you are looking for a new head you can pay $490 plus shipping or $350 shipped for a new casting, non-jet valve head:) My Starion project is in a hold pattern while I try and catch up on bills: I have a new, still in the box, new casting Alabama Cyl Head cast solid assembled with new Turbo valves ( for hydraulic lifters), new springs, new retainers and locks, new spring seats, and new valve sealsvalves, etc. ready to bolt on. Dad sells these heads for $395 plus shipping. For a pic go here: http://www.enginemachineservice.com/conquest.html As it says on the web site these heads are backordered so I hate to let it go but c'est la vie. Price is $350 shipped. Thanks, Michael mcrisfield@cox.net
  13. My loss is your gain - I'm in debt up to my eyeballs so my Starion project is going to have to take a step back. I have a NEW IN THE BOX Mookeeh Dual Gauge Pod with a Narrowband Air/Fuel and a 30PSI Boost Gauge. I bought them from Mookeeh on EBAY and paid $110 with shipping (for Pics look for Item number 4646196117): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BOOST-AIR-F...1QQcmdZViewItem I'll sell it for $70 (save $20) plus actual USPS shipping cost. Give me your zip code and I'll tell you how much shipping will be. Any less than that and it isn't worth my time to go down to the post office. I accept Paypal. Thanks, Michael mcrisfield@cox.net
  14. UPDATE - $78 SHIPPED. My loss is your gain - I'm in debt up to my eyeballs so my Starion project is going to have to take a step back. I have a front and rear set of Stillen brake pads brand new in original box. I bought them from the 3SX Performance site and paid $115 with shipping (look here for pics): http://www.3sxperformance.com/starquest.asp I'll sell them for $78 shipped (save $37). I WILL NOT sell the front or rear set separately. I accept Paypal. Thanks, Michael mcrisfield@cox.net
  15. I'm not sure what you mean. It's a non-jet valve head but I believe they manufacture these themselves using their own casting. I'm sure the Alabama heads don't flow as much as a Marnel but the Marnels cost almost twice as much so it depends on how much you want to spend. Ask 'Dad' on these boards since he is now selling Alabama heads he may be able to tell you what he thinks of this head compared to Clearwater, Marnel, etc.
  16. I just wanted to let everyone know that Alabama Cylinder Head (http://www.alabamacylinderhead.com/) has complete brand new non-jet valve heads (with Cam and rockers - ready to bolt on), for $365 shipped. Best deal out there by far. I just ordered one today. Thanks, Michael
  17. How much for the head? How many miles? Condition? Is it complete with Cam, rockers, etc.? Shipping to 85220? Thanks! Michael
  18. I'm not an Starquest owner yet but I'm going to chime in with my two cents anyway I've had a "warm-air" intake setup in my 3000GT (non-turbo): an open air K&N filter that I eventually put a box around to keep some of the engine heat away. Here in Arizona it gets VERY hot inside the engine compartment and I soon began to doubt the wisdom of that particular setup. Most of the article's I've read concerning custom turbo or supercharger setups (for the 350Z for example), noted that they had better results with a drop-in K&N filter than an open air filter in the engine bay. Cold-air intakes are a different story though. I currently have a NISMO cold-air filter on my Altima that is quite impressive. It is very similar to the custom setup shown in this thread in that the filter hangs in the lower fender just behind the hole for the fog lamps (I don't have the fogs on mine so air flows directly to the intake). However, all NISMO intakes come with a "bypass valve" that looks strange but is supposed to detect the presence of excess moisture in the intake tube and close the tube if necessary. I can attest to being caught in storms and even driving through water high enough to hit my fender without any ill effects. I don't know how easy it would be to integrate a bypass valve into a custom setup but I know that AEM cold air intakes offer them as an optional part so you should be able to get one and match up the piping if necessary. I definitely wouldn't have a cold-air intake without the bypass valve because even in Arizona you don't always know when you're going to get caught in a storm or drive through a puddle at night. On the flip side I don't know if I'd spend a lot of money on a warm-air intake setup - I'd probably just buy the drop in filter if it's already a turbo/supercharged car. Michael
