  1. It's the hardness of the urethane. I think Stedebani made some that were stiffer initially, 90 or 95.
  2. Polyurethane Suspension Bushing Kit (85 Durometer) $170 **Sold to 19cQuest** Stainless Steel Short Throw Shifter $90 **Sold to Kougar**
  3. Here's a pic http://www.dragva.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=13451&stc=1
  4. aren't 18/0 the offset on the stock wheels? Going wider, wouldnt the offset change?
  5. FRONT: 18x9, offset 37 REAR: 18x 10 offset 44 I'm a big dummy when it comes to calculating offset. Thanks!
  6. Isn't it true that you can go too big with sway bars too, just like you can go too stiff with springs? A larger sway bar effectively increases the spring rate when the wheels on one "axle" move up/down at different rates. If both wheels go up/down at the same rate, no prob. But if one wheel hits a pothole/bump, that extra spring rate that resists body roll under lateral acceleration will also act as though the spring has a higher rate on that corner contributing to a choppier ride? Sorry to go on a tangent, just considering the two options for the front bar.
  7. Oscar, is there any concensus on what size front bar will be made?
  8. Haha.. 9 layers of paint.. I know the feeling. I stripped a hood on my 78' 280z with about the same. Talk about time consuming, tedious work stripping and prepping that hood.
  9. I bought a BOV from money4771 and it arrived very quickly, just as he described. Â Otis gets a BIG thumbsup from me.
  10. for anyone interested in Konis over KYB's, I found them for $570 shipped Part Number: 8641 1221SPORT Quantity: 4 (Rears) List Price: $880.00 Our Price: $545.00 Shipping: $25.00 Total: $570.00 I've had Koni's on several Hondas and have always been pleased but am considering trying the KYB's for something different.  Well, the DMS setup has me thinking too  ;D I also found the KYB's for $368 shipped, just in case anyone hasnt found a better deal.
  11. How does the valving of the 765016 compare to stock or KYB/Tokico replacements?
  12. I'm definitely interested. Can you make a relatively firm (updated) estimate of the pricing with and without springs? I'm still leaning toward the springs they normally provide since they are progressively wound with differing coil thickness.
  13. Well, I decided to take ownership of said Conquest ;D I didn't have a chance to get the struts off tonight because we were late getting home and I need to make a spot in the garage but I should have them off and photos taken this week. Can you tell me what photos you're looking for? How long will DMS need the struts?
  14. I should have some available this weekend. Do I get a price break for supplying them? ;D
  15. For what it's worth, I have a buddy with the DMS in his WRX and they are awesome ;D
  16. I wonder, short of going to a shop that specializes in camber degreeing, is there anyway for us DIY-ers to accurately degree the cambers as close to zero with perhaps a simple tool that we're not aware of? Too bad Art couldnt machine a small reference mark on the camber plate for the stock location and maybe +/- .5 or 1 degree. I'm sure that would add to the price though and most Quest owners are super cost conscious.
  17. If you haven't received the photos in a week or so, let me know. I have a close friend that has an 87 Quest and I have a digicam
