  1. Just letting you know I can get my hands on a "near infinite" supply of TP and TR Manifolds and if it's for a GP, I can sell for quite a bit less than I have been charging for individual manifolds. If it's say 10 manifolds, TP's would be $210 US and TR's around $160 US each inc. shipping (all shipped to the same address). That includes a cleaned manifold, Fuel rail, FPR and a brand new plenum chamber gasket. TR Manifolds are worthless over here, but TP's are still in demand and therefore everyone charges a lot more for them. - Trent
  2. Hi, I can probably get you the gasket. Email me at info@modded.com.au.
  3. Oh yeah, Magna injectors should be immediately thrown away.
  4. I have TP and TR manifold kits available at http://www.modded.com.au under "US Customers". I have sold a TR to a Starquest member who will be putting up pics of the mods required.
  5. Oh yeah. All packages will be sent off the next working day after payment is received.* * Unless there is a huge amount of orders at the same time. ;D
  6. Hi folks, My online store has officially launched. http://www.modded.com.au Go to "Starion" on the menu. Unfortunately, due to the difficulty of the accounting side of the business, I am charging prices for the manifolds in AU currency. This means that the cost will vary slightly in $US. PayPal now accepts payments in AU currency - it's automatically converted from your $US to AUD. The prices are: TP Manifold (pressure cleaned), Fuel Rail, FPR, Assorted bolts and spacers, new Plenum Chamber Gasket - $375 Australian ($250 for the kit and roughly $125 postage) =$270-300 US. TP Dizzy + New Rotor and Cap - $170 Australian ($130 for the kit and around $40 postage) =$120-140 US. Both kits in the 1 package - $515 Australian ($370 for the kit and roughly $145 postage) = 375-$410 US. TR Manifolds will be $175 AU for the kit, but about $145 AU postage because of the increased size. $175+$145 = $320 Aus which is around $240-260ish US. Please note that at the moment NOONE has put a TR onto a Starion/Conquest (that I know of), so if anyone is willing to do a prototype, I will sell the first TR for cost price. Email me at info@modded.com.au if you're interested in doing the prototype. Modifications for the TR are expected to be a fair bit more costly than the TP due to its larger size. Thanks, Trent http://www.modded.com.au

  8. My online store will be opening in ~2 weeks. I'll have pics and info on the TR manifolds in comparison to the TP. I can also guarantee I will have TP's in stock, ready to send off within 24 hours. If anyone wants to be the guineu pig for a TR manifold setup, email me at twilbr@gmail.com, and I will sell you one at cost price (Not sure about the length of it, but worst case scenario height-wise, you'd have to cut a hole in the bonnet and put in a scoop/bulge). -Trent
  9. Howdy, ;D I am opening the business on the 24th Feb. Will post up details once the site is up and running. Reason I needed some pics of the modded manifold was that I might be able to organise a deal with a local welder, so I can send them off already modded.
  10. Nevermind, I found a pic from the angle I needed. (Had various pics from these boards but not from a particular angle to see what was modded).
  11. Hi, I am the Australian source for this GP - I supplied the TP manifolds for the Chad-modded GP a few months back. I can guarantee this one will go a lot smoother as I *definately* have 10 manifolds with fuel rails - I ran out of the TP's and had to run around everywhere to find the pieces I didn't have. I will post off the package within 14 days of the money entering my bank account. Postage will be a little over a week to get to YELLOWHELL. If anyone has any questions, please email me at twilbr@gmail.com as I don't check my PM's as often as the email. The ironic thing about all this is 2 hours after I gave the quote for 10 manifolds, I got a phone call saying I've been approved for government-funded small business startup funding for importing/exporting car parts (I applied for this funding 2 months ago), so by the time this deal is secured, I may be sending it as a real business. ;D
  12. Ok, I spoke to Chad, and the TR is gonna be too expensive to modify.. so the next GP will be the TP manifold. However, Chad is currently flat-out busy with other commitments, so at the moment I can not say when the next GP will be.
  13. Apologies to everyone who sent me PM's. I only check this board occasionally (except when a GP is in progress, then I check it daily). If you want to contact me, use my email address -> twilbr@hotmail.com. I think Chad is a bit tied down at the moment. Just waiting to see how expensive the TR manifold is to mod -- if it costs too much, then I can get my hands on *7* TP manifolds. This time, everything will be sent out correctly.. as there were a few stuff-ups last time. I now definately have the correct gaskets, and the rubber spacers and bolts for the fuel rail to bolt to the manifold will be included. If the TR manifold is not that expensive for Chad to mod, then I can get my hands on roughly *50* TR manifolds... they are much easier to find than TP's.
  14. Chad is modding a TR soon, so he will probably post on how expensive it is to do. If it isn't too bad, I can get my hands on boatloads of the TR manifolds... It's the TP manifolds that are hard to find (They are used in similar conversions over here for pajero's and sigma's).
  15. Yeah, sorry about the quality - My Camera is a $15 one. : The plenum is signifiantly bigger.
  16. Found the pics ;D http://members.iinet.net.au/~revwiltay/tr2.jpg http://members.iinet.net.au/~revwiltay/tr3.jpg http://members.iinet.net.au/~revwiltay/tr5.jpg http://members.iinet.net.au/~revwiltay/tr9.jpg
  17. Damn, I took some pics of a TR compared to a TP, they are SOMEWHERE on my hdd.. I'll try and find them (don't have a TR here at the moment, if I can't find the pics I'll goto a wrecker and take some pics next week). Glad that almost everyone has the intakes now. ;D ;D Gaskets are coming soon.. had some problems finding them as the main parts store here has TP and TR listed as using the same gasket, even though they clearly aren't (I took one there and showed him the difference). There was 1 FPR missing - I am not sure who has missed out, but that is on the way with the gaskets too. Once again, my apologies for the time it took.. the next GP will go much smoother and faster than this one though.
  18. OK, Good and bad news.  :-[ Bad news is TP manifold GP won't be going ahead for a while... at least 6 weeks... I have 3 sources now and between them all they still don't have enough for a GP. Good news is TR manifold GP can be set up shortly.. I can get my hands on a *lot* of these. Chad is modding one for a private buyer soon, so once that is done, he will give me a price on modding those.. It apparently requires a fair bit more work due to the edge of the manifold hitting the brake booster. As I said, I suspect the total cost will be about $100 more than the TP package (due to higher modification costs and higher postage as it is significantly larger than the TP). Also, the gasket package for the first GP is going to be sent off either tomorrow or friday. The next GP will go a lot smoother than this one.. Since this was the first one, there were some mess-ups and things therefore took longer than they should have. The next GP will be much quicker.
  19. I'll reply tomorrow with some details about the next GP. ;D BTW, Any interest in a *TR* manifold GP? The manifold is physically bigger and appears much better flowing than the TP. I would say these would be roughly $470US Complete modded, so $100 more than a TP.
  20. Chad has just emailed me, informing me 3/4 of the manifolds are done.. however, the gaskets are for TR!! The idiots at the store I got them at got the wrong ones.. it's partially my fault however, because I should of double-checked them against the TP manifolds. I just assumed they would of gotten the correct ones cos I not only specified TP, but I also said the years they were made, and that it is the oldest shape magna. > > I will order some more tomorrow and actually take a manifold there and show them so this time they don't stuff it up. It will take a couple of days to get them sent to the local store, then I will send them off ASAP - probably get there late next week or early the week after. > Apologies to everyone - I should of checked they were the correct gaskets :/ I'll try and organize something with Chad so that he sends out the manifold packages right away, so everyone can trial fit and set everything up on them, and then send out the gaskets by themselves as soon as he gets them.
  21. I wanted to wait for everyone to receive their manifolds before I started another GP. So, if there was another GP in say 2 week, who would be interested? ???
  22. Awesome ;D . At least it got there before the long weekend.
  23. Yeah, I haven't spoken to Chad for a few days but it should be there by now. ;D Another group buy will be organized once the current one is fully completed and everyone has their manifolds.
  24. I am sending the package off tomorrow (a day or two late, I know, but I had a heap of problems finding enough braces and then some of the fuel rails I was going to be getting from a wrecker were actually TR ones which are totally different and I ended up driving around and buying individual rails from private sellers, etc etc... ARGH!!). However for future GP's, it will all be ready for me in advance (the wrecker now knows to keep EVERYTHING for me.. he previously used to THROW AWAY THE RAILS AND BRACES!!) Everything is there except for 2 manifold to block braces. Any GP buyers want to volunteer to NOT receive a brace with their package? Chad agrees they are not needed (the complete manifold weighs roughly 7kg.. not sure what that is in pounds). From memory the TR manifolds don't even have braces, ye they weigh significantly more. I *can* get the 2 needed braces, but it will be a lot of driving around for just them.
  25. I've received the money into my PayPal account - It will be into my bank account on Thursday or Friday, so the package will be sent off on Monday. The freight place said they normally take 4-5 working days to get to anywhere in the USA, so it *should* reach Chad before the end of this month. I'll reply here again when I send the package off to keep everyone informed.
