  1. Do the Marnals, etc., flow better? are they less likely to crack? whats the difference? Isnt any non-jet valve head an improvement over stock? I am also head shopping and dont feel like paying $250-350 for a non-jet valve head when I can go to the junkyard and get a caravan head for a 1/4 that. But at the same time I dont want to buy a caravan head out of the yard and have it crack two weeks later because all the heads were poor castings or something. So simply, I am asking, will the caravan head be fine as long as I dont overheat? Cory
  2. I got my manifold finished and all the linkage done. THANKS EVERYONE for answering my dumb and meticulous questions but I always like to be sure before I weld anything. I think I might have messed up though cause I didnt turn the coolant neck flange quite enough and it looks like it might hit the IC pipe when a hose is installed. I was wondering if there is another neck off another car(I tried both styles) I could use that would turn more towards the front? Another question, I havent tapped any vacuum sources yet but I was just wondering if its possible to use the fitting on the firewall side of the intake(most put a 90 degree fitting in it and use it for the brake booster) to run not only the brake booster but use brass Ts and reducers to run other vacuum lines? I also received my Fuso IC last week and am still waiting on my FIP controller so Im one step closer. Cory
  3. Boosted One, Did the oil cooler get in the way? It looks like it will. I saw in your pic that you had a small cooler of some sort in the bottom left, is that the oil cooler? Yeah, it looks like I might have to just make my own. It is alot cheaper and I have done it before(but it was a pain). Oh, BTW, very nice setup and I bet you paid a fortune for all those couplers. Jr_ss, Yeah, you ran yours done below the headlights didnt you? Would I really notice a difference if I went with 2 1/2 cause 2 1/4 is harder to find on Ebay . Cory
  4. Thats true jr_ss, But I think Kelly only makes them in 2 1/4". Most people it seems use 2 1/2" when doing the MPI. Cory
  5. I checked with Kelly and his are meant for a modified stock intercooler. Does anyone know if these will still work?Maybe with a little cutting or something? Also, could someone please post pics of your setup so maybe I could show Kelly how they are run and he can make the decision as to whether his pipes will work or not? Thanks, Cory
  6. Does anyone sell the hardpipes needed to run a magna intake and fuso IC? I would just rather buy them instead of making them.
  7. What about on the TB? That is where I am unsure cause of the way the cable is supposed to attach. It just doesnt look the same as ours, as far as the way the cable attaches to the thing.
  8. Could you maybe explain what it looks like he did? I have been looking at how my TB is going on there and I cant see how I am going to get a cable to pull it the way it needs to.
  9. Does anyone have pics of how they did their throttle linkage? Or point me to someone who does?
  10. OK, 3 Bar it is cause who wants to buy one later? What kind to get?
  11. That's a joke! I will probably just go with the 2-bar for now cause 20+psi from a 20g on a stock shortblock equals 2.6 liters of death. I need it to get me around until my other motor gets built. I figured I go ahead and see what 9 or 10 psi on a 20g w/MPI and stock bottom end does. What should it run?
  12. What has to be done for the MAP sensor and which one should I use for the Fuel Injection Pro controller?
  13. That is what I figured. Make sure I have everything straight. Weld a 1/8" plate in coolant passages then drill and port to fit gasket. Drill and port a hole to fit new coolant neck(flange w/tube welded to it) in new location and weld new coolant neck in position. Cut off Magna coolant neck as short as possible. Block off passage by welding on a 1/8" plate and drill and tap plate to fit 5/8" barb for heater hose. Cut off Magna heater hose barb and weld another 1/8" plate there too. For the TB, Cut off Magna TB flange as short as possible then weld 1/8" plate in its place, drill and tap holes for fittings required for vac lines(how many?). On the opposite side of the plenum cut the end off and weld the new Ford TB flange on. Is there anything I left out besides the bracket for the throttle cable?
  14. So, The coolant passages between runners one and four need to be reduced in size. eeaston, How did you go about reducing them? Did you weld a small piece in there and have the manifold planed or what? I actually got a flange today for the coolant neck. Just took one of my old intakes and cut it right off. I am planning on going with the 75 lb. Delphi injectors. Now lets start with the engine management. I am planning on using Fuel Injection Pro's computer that is already wired for the Starquest w/ Magna. Any objections? Cory
  15. I saw some 75 lb. Delphi injectors on Racetronix website today for 60.00 a piece. These will fit?
