i can do this.my fogs will light up when i press on the foglight button.i dont even have to turn the car on ;D

use a trim stick(or be very careful with a long flat head screw driver) and pry up.the clips should just pop loose.with the screw driver,you may nik the paint on the car.

for the price,kumho's would do.i had them on my avcenger and i liked how soft they felt.

one word yuck! not trying to offend,looks like a lot of work was put into it,but it just doesnt fit the front end. all it needs is altezzas on the rear and a big ole aluminum spoiler and old rice will be new again ;D

nope,no wire missing.i checked in the manual and thats how its supposed to be.all the wires are corect so im thinkin i have a bad radio.that may be the reason my antenna isnt coming up also.now i have to find another radio.damn,i want some music in the car

we have 3 plugs that go to the factory radio. on the back of the radio,the largest hole has pin receptacles for 9 pins to be plugged into it.on my harness,i only have 8 pins.one of the pins in the corner doesnt exist.the other 2 plugs are perfect,right wires and pins to fit on the radio. i had only 8 wires from the wiring harness to solder onto the harness i bought.are there a ninth pin?anyone know? i have a solid white wire from the plug ins i bought that doesnt go with anything.and after i matched up all the wires,i had a stripped wire that did go to anything so i put it together with the soild white one from the plug.im thinkin there is a wire missing but where?

good topic! mine is doing the same thing and i have the autometer gauges.i thought the damn thing was trying to blow up kinda funky watching it doing the jig with the blinkers ;D

on the quest i have,the factory wires were cut for the afermarket radio the previous owner had installed.i bought a stock harness and a stock radio.all of the colors on the wires match except one form the harness.from the harness i bought,its a white wire.the only wire left to attch it to is a white/blue looking wire.when i hook it up,it looks as if the raio is trying to play a tape.no sound and no tape is in the deck.anyone have any ideas?also,the antenna didnt go up.and i didnt plug up the antenna,i was waiting to see if it all worked.did that cause anything not to work?

but wouldnt he need to get longer studs?with the spacers,the lugnut will not tighten down enough?

yep,definately gonna paint them. im painting the car silver.im not gonna change the color this time,but if everything goes good,i may try to do a different style later down the road.

im not gonna do full stripes.just the scoop and over the front fenders.

optima is on the way in and i have ordered the battery box for it.

the metal pieces that fit down the sides of the hatch,from top to spoiler,most are black from factory?right?well,since i am gonna paint the car,i was thinking it would look better body color.opinions?pics maybe?

well,i figured maybe around the first of the year,bui think i may offer my other 87 up for sale.she is all there,just needs some one to fix the engine and she should run fine.if i can sell it and make enough,i can have it painted and ready to go within a month.
