  1. Thanks man that's just the info I needed.
  2. Getting oil in distributor cap. The deal inside the dizzy has 100800 miles on it and trying to make motor leak free. The mechanic put a performance oil pump on and pushing oil out the seals. Would like to replace all the seals to see it it fixes it. Thanks for the quick reply
  3. Is the seals the ones that go inside the distributor, the seal on the tail end of the shaft by cam shaft gear?
  4. Cool thanks. Looks like buying a rebuilt is an easier route cause locating parts for rebuild is a pita lol
  5. I'm looking to rebuild my distributor too and was wondering where I could get a rebuild kit for it ? Also is the 87 distributor different then the 88 and if so how can I tell the difference? I bought an extra dizzy for 88 and I am currently using a 87 dizzy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I had the engine rebuilt and I'm blowing seals and gaskets out with oil
  6. Cool thanks. What are the tell tale signs of blow out? Will it knock or?
  7. I've read somewhere that when your engine makes more power you need a smaller gap.
  8. I'll see about buying a better and more consistent gap feeler brand. Would the gap change if your changing compression ratios. I got wiseco pistons
  9. Up and running good. Purrs like a kitten
  10. Hey mainstream I've got a passenger side shp strut that actually pushes up good. I'll be in Knoxville this weekend
  11. I like the way my g54b pulls on .044 gap. I guess I'm going to do some research on gap tools. When I set it at .044 it starts up faster when first cranked in the morning. I have noticed changes in the air fuel ratio when changing gaps. .040 read 12.5 and .044 read 13. And it seemed like it spooled up better too with engine feeling tight at throttle and didn't have the slightest misfire when decelerating while in gear
  12. Also I got to autozone gap feeler gauges and they have different gap settings when I use one and set it to .044 the other one shows .035
  13. what's the minimum and maximum gap for stock g54b. Is the gap different with different spark plug brands? I see .044 gap with ngk brand that seems like a lot of gap.
  14. It can be done but after all the research the mazda tps is the way to go
  15. Sorry hopeful noob for the late reply but I do have an extra connector. I'll pm you shortly. I'd like to pay it forward since I've had a lot of help from this site. I had no luck with turning two oem tps's into one. Basically have one good brush lol

  17. I bought the autozone one for hundred bucks and wired it into the relay under carpet in back but goes down when you turn the radio off and not when the ign is turned off the way I have set up waiting on touchscreen and money to wire the rest also it has plugs for satellite radio, digital radio and I think cb but fits perfect just have to add a longer bracket
  18. Thanks for the fast reply. Where you located at?
  19. My heart stopped when I seen a gapping hole in the top of it
