I appreciate all the help and suggestions. Checked a few things today with no found problems. Still have to check a few things just wanted to get some ideas. I do have a 89 service manual. First thing I bought and I have read it and go back to it for help when needed. Thanks all!

Its a 89 and it turns over but doesn't start and the tach does bounce when trying to start.

Triple checked everything this morning and all grounds are good but stil no start

I Checked the obvious grounds but ill have to check grounds again and the grounds for the coil. Thanks for the suggestions!

Just got done replacing some bad valve seals and put 100lb valve springs. Installed the head made sure everything was at tdc, double checked connections and the car isnt getting spark now. Any ideas?

I took the head off to do the seals and some other things as well. The hammer technique worked! Thanks vbrad511!

I am in the process of replacing some bad valve seals in my non jet head. I have removed every valve except cylinder 1 intake valve. The keepers seem to be frozen within the retainer. I have the head off of the car and I am using the c-clamp style valve spring compressor but no dice. I've tried cleaning the gunk around the keepers but it is still frozen. The valve seems to be ok and not bent. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
