Yeah lots of good info. I have been lurking for months waiting for a good deal to come along. I'm not sure what my plans are for the car. My first thoughts were to swap a 2jzgte. But I may be reconsidering at least for the time being. I'm really stoked.

I have always loved the look of the Starquests, and I'm excited to say I just purchased a 1987 Conquest tsi.. It was not running ,so I had the injectors cleaned, flowed, cleaned the fuel tank, and put a new fuel filter on it and it runs like a brand new car. I put the car on the lift and it has been undercoated an has no rust on the frame rails. It has a very minor rust spot behind the drivers door that I will cut out and weld a new piece of sheet metel in. Overall not to bad for a $840.00 car "SCORE!!" I am looking forward to restoring this great piece of history. I will post some pics in the near future.
