  1. so you let this go for 3650, I would have bid had I known. that looks like a good deal..
  2. these came off the car and worked fine, no leaks etc. ran the car with them for over a year. so yes. also have the brown ECU fuse links brand new in package if anyone wants them.
  3. Green top and black top for sale, first 80 bucks delivered to the 48 gets em. thanks...
  4. now I think it is a dirty fuel problem, like clogged up fuel. I cleaned the inlet to the fuel pump with some carb cleaner and it had more power but still hesitated a little. I have some new injectors getting here on Monday so I will then have them professionally cleaned and go from there.
  5. A clogged cat maybe the car stays running with all the intercooler piping disconnected which it should not I kept it running and the turbo is blowing air just not making power like it was. and the exhaust is a lot more muffled than before...
  6. yes it does, was pulling strong but it is like it loses power right before hitting the crossover point on boost and then it makes weaksauce for power in turbo. I have no idea what it could be but I checked the injectors and do not believe it to be them.
  7. I have an issue with my car not making the power it used too while in boost. I looked at it today and it is something that has been happening over time. It at first would fall flat on its face like timing was being pulled when in max boost pressure which for my 87 is 7 lbs. I looked at the injectors and plan to have them cleaned soon and do not believe them to be the issue. It is like it looses power or does not want to go into boost and then when it is in boost the power is not there like it used to be. I cleaned the intercooler hot side where the air comes out and it smelled like burnt oil and had a sludge burnt smell to it and the hoses were coated with this sticky oil substance on the inside. I cleaned them off. I let the car cool down and the intake side or propeller shaft has a lot of play in it. It will move like 3-4 mm or more side to side up and down and front to back. I can feel the cartridge floating in it. I checked the vac advance and it moves and holds pressure with a hand pump. I am a lost at ideas.... thx
  8. if you find another set I will take a pair of them. I have been needing a set for a while and just now saw this. Guess the down sides of having to work for a living. thanks
  9. IMO all of them should have been 4 speed manuals, the third gear even when running in higher rpm is useless. How many of you all anyway fast shift from 2nd to 4th, to me the pull is the same and 4th is a lot more useful.
  10. would you not happen to have the injectors would you? if you do please pm me thanks
  11. I will take a set of injectors if you have another set which looks like you do, thanks
  12. Injectors I need injectors, have them? I need them, have money
  13. Durban never came in beige interior, although I like it but maroon leather was this colors original combination.
  14. I have talked to RC engineering and they are in California. I have a local Diesel shop guy that uses sonic cleaning tools so I think that is what I will try first. The spare secondary I have is bad, and yeah the secondary is leaking causing flooding at start up with a low idle. I believe and I also need to redo the exhaust manifold gasket.
  15. I have no idea, but have a local shop that can clean them for me. The problem is one of the secondarys I have is leaking from the top hat and needs to be rebuilt. GB on rock auto offers a rebuilding service so I do not know if they replace the cores. If they do then that would be the one to go with.
  16. I can not post links or upload pics into this forum -- it is not very user friendly. but I think it has been called driftwood or maybe Shetland beige but the window sticker called it Sunset beige metallic
  17. that car has not sold, the fool told me it did and I was willing to pay up to 10 grand for the car and they turned it down. 10 grand IMO is top dollar for any starquest of any condition plus I want something I can drive. Have 5 grand into a Starquest with paint and maintenance work and you can have a great daily driver.
  18. I think they called it Sunset Gray Metallic dark bronze or gold color as opposed to Palmero gray Gold which my Starion is painted I looked at an 86 Conquest before I found my 87 Starion and it was painted that color and the guy had the original window sticker and it was called Sunset Gray metallic iirc and I have never seen another one pretty rare car. That is the color I want to paint my Starion so that is why I am asking.
  19. I assumed you milled the factory tb to a larger diameter, I have no need for the lower intake and I assume it was machined as well? If you want yo sell the top half with the injectors I might be interested but if you are trying to sell it as a unit then I understand. I mainly need a secondary injector that is good or can be cleaned to be good. I guess if it came down to it I could have mind cleaned but I do not know if that will fix the dripping. Unfortunately python injectors must be out of business since they use to sell remanufactured ones. No body really makes tbi injectors any more and I have been reluctant to try the Lucas GP they have going on.
  20. You have a set that you can make or are looking for a secondary as well? I need a good working secondary, mine is dripping on shut offs.
  21. is the rubber coupler pipe from the ovcp complete? the one that runs from the ovcp to the intercooler? thanks
