I believe it's rust free and the pic looks decent. The car has a blown head gasket, so who knows what damage that may have caused.

Hello, There is a car for sale for cheap and it's a 1989 starion automatic. I can use it for parts if it checks out. How can I tell if it's has a SHP package besides the 8/9" wheels? Is it specified underneath the hood or in the VIN tag somewhere? Thanks...

Actually, I was able to find some but I had to get the whole hood. The hood was ruster than F**k. The original stickers are still on the hood. I should have had the seller keep the hood and just ship the inserts. I knew the hood was rusty but it's way worse then I thought.

The hatch itself isn't the weight problem. It's the glass. I plan on getting a Lexan hatch glass and that should solve the weight problem. I need to purchase a loaner rear glass to send out to get one made.
