  1. http://www.classicempire.com/ Oh the hours of playing that game and the stupid authentication code you had to enter when you didn't have the stupid manual anymore...
  2. The Skeptics Annotated Bible, lol, too late for me to do that tonight - but it sounds fun and I will take a look at it tomorrow and read up on it myself
  3. We have an 05 Kia Amanti and we bought it new and has 127k now & running strong - but the economy is at 20 mpg and that just sucks in my opinion for a V6 and the weight of the car, you would think 24 avg but the Koreans didn't have it together just yet at that time. Got a call back from the white Sienna - someone put a deposit down and will be picking it up Monday. If it doesn't go through they will contact me. Might get the honda before then though...we'll see
  4. I guess 'compelling' is the key word. Because something can't be proven, it doesn't make it false and maybe that's why my views are the way that they are.
  5. That reminds me of the classic strategy game Empire!
  6. Certainly not ignoring any one post - may need to sink in a few times before it sinking in entirely and I understand what IMWII is saying to in response to the chariots in the sea. I further understand what you mean in regards to using ones own experience to enhance ones belief system. I suppose it's a pointless debate because you guys are absolutely correct in pure difinitive proof of the Holy Bible and the trinity. I believe we touched base on faith and I suppose that is why it is the cornerstone of christianity. That makes miracles just unexplained events in your eyes and I suppose your right if you get right down too it. There still wont be changing my belief or stance. It's not that im listening and tossing what you have aside. It makes me want to understand more and you bring up nothing short of valid points. I doubt I will ever get the answers in the near future (hopefully not), but I will certainly pay close attention to science to see what else is revealed. Every scientist has his specialty and if I had the choice, it would be the stories of the bible.
  7. I did as soon as I found it. Will be looking at a 2000 Honda Odyssey with 215k on it But its only $3400 tomorrow. http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/cto/2929566059.html
  8. lol, dang you guys are quick - I edited my post from up top ^^^^ But you guys can't deny - its pretty compelling (Red Sea). Like I said, I wish they would just tear that site apart and discover more information.
  9. So splitting the Red Sea is myth to you? The chariot wheels at the bottom don't mean anything? Thats like viewing the Titanic on the ocean floor and saying it never went accross the ocean and sunk at its resting spot. Perhaps you do need more evidence and I dont fault you for that one bit. I suppose my experiences have gave me the reason for my faith - my own evidence in its own right and that is a far cry from being gullible. Tim_C: I was referring to the profitting in the sake of ones gain, not the desire to truly bless others and preach the word. My pastor is essentially on call 24/7 and his life is pulled in so many directions and his pay is incredibly measly compared to the average salary. He drives on old Chevy Luv for crying out loud as his main vehicle!! Chip: I wouldn't call everyones religion false - just confused On a serious note, thats why people need to get 'religion' out of there vocabulary. God has many names and yes, I understand what your trying to say and to a degree I can't argue it. Just like the Essenes who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls - they wrote about Jesus Christ and the miracles he did, the Temple of Jerusalem but in the same manuscripts it differs slightly in what the 'church' is. It's quite interesting but this group of people had slight differerences in regards to Jesus's teaching about the 'church' and its function. It could almost be argued an entire 'religion' be pulled out of this, but fortunately it was not. But I believe most have construed the bible and the teachings of there religions are not backed by the manuscripts that we have today.
  10. Educate me Boho, seriously though - what religions have had prophecies that have been true? And which ones of the bible do you find coincidental? ....I thought I was done
  11. I wouldn't consider my posts incredibly long or trying to fit somthing into a hole. If anything I am encouraging science and the exploration of the bible as a whole. Further, it is very clear that my thoughts our entirely my opinions and not trying to throw or force what you call 'crackpot' stories down anyone persons throat. I merely mentioned that people driven by science should take the bible into account - lets not forget history - not last year or all the way back to 1500 B.C. and im sorry, but the bible contains a whole lot of history. In speaking of evidence that speaks contrary to the bible, I don't believe you have brought forth 'evidence' to contradict the bible - theories yes, but that seems to be the extent. And around we go - it is an endless circle at this time that will be continually argued. I encourage science and I thought that was pretty clear from my previous post.
  12. My wife bought mine in 97-98 (can't remember) as a gift. Wasn't ideal, but it certainly is fullfilling the dream of owning one.
  13. Im trying to get in touch with the owners of the Sienna - but go figure, no phone number
  14. The wife and I are going to get a van this week and wanted to know if anyone has owned the Mazda MPV 2000-2003 years? Im looking at Sienna's, Odyssey and the MPV. Will not get the Chevy, Ford, Town & Country, or Caravan. My budget is around $5k, maybe a bit more depending on the vehicle but NOT to exceed $6500 after Tax, Title & Lic. The three im looking @ http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/ctd/2928819441.html http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/2931855800.html http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/2929475962.html
  15. The Multiverse and Hindu cycle is certainly something that we are very very very far from knowing or proving the theories correct. We don't have the means to test them and so many other things described in the bible. The very idea seems so far off the rocker, but then again, men were able to overcome flight and eventually land on the moon (now don't bring up that conspiracy theory) which was a criminal thought and thought to be just mad. I think DieHard is on to something though. If it wasn't for these wild thoughts and ideas brought from the bible or scientist alike, we would be stagnant as a species. It's hard to ignore what the bible suggests and label it as something as a story passed through the generations until the printing press was created to hold the stories in place. Especially when several books of the bible have shown to be correct with science still proving more and more to be accurate. Im hoping - that there would be more scientist to get involved in the Red Sea crossing in the bible. The artifacts at the bottom of the sea and even the pillars described in the bible from which King Solomon put in place to mark the very crossing NEED to be looked at. I wait in anticipation for science to catch up to the bible and little by little it comes to light. The Dead Sea Scrolls is another that is absolute fascinating. More scripture from an entirely different belief system that catalogs Jesus's life and it is in line with the Gospel (new testament) of the Bible. These ancient stories are so incredible that I would absolutely love to know the mysteries behind them. Im incredibly open to science today - because science is the very means to discovering Gods creations. I suppose thats why im not threatened by science - just more intrigued by it. I don't understand how people can NOT be intrigued by the bible. Especially those who seek the truth and are truly open to ideas that seem today to be utterly mad, but later in the future it just might be the normal thought pattern backed by newly discovered evidence. Thats just me of course.
  16. I know you mentioned the header panel is freshly painted, but what about its physicall condition? Will you ship also to 98387? Thanks!
  17. Best of luck to you - very similar situation years ago and it was a 3 year relationship as well. She (the ex) never did anything for me outside of the physical realm. Now I have my wife and baby number 4 on the way. She makes me a better person because there is substance to the relationship - something my ex could never bring to the table. You will be fine and from the sound of things, you have lots to offer another girl who in turn, just might appreciate it and WANT to return that affection back. Best of luck and the setup in the Quest is sounding very unique - certainly get some pics up when its complete!!
  18. I couldn't agree more and I certainly believe it's where many are turned off by the church - A bad apple can go a long way unfortunately
  19. I had more of the impression that Photoshop was just an editing program. Maybe I will look into it, but its purely for entertainment purposes only and yes, a time killer. My previous cars were a joke but fun nonetheless.
  20. Yeah, I tried getting the 3D - but failed miserably
  21. Created and designed in MS Paint - Imported into Photoshop to give a better looking tint on windows, other than that, this program is pretty darn cool and overlooked by many. I was working with a guy who needed a pixel artist for a new game for the android and Iphones. Sadly it was dropped before anything could truly develop. http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h41/john82wa/ExoticVehicle1Rev.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h41/john82wa/options.jpg
  22. Look at this and scroll down till you hit the cooling system. Excellent guide: http://www.starquest...showtopic=66449 I think this should be pinned up to the top or placed somewhere in the newb section (pinned though). It took me awhile to find it again and its a great reference!!
  23. I use to use those always for either an aftermarket alarm system, stereo and some fog light setups have them as well.
