The rust is Moderate I'd say considering the age. I purchased it whole and not running, It had been sitting for several years from an individual and nursed it back to life. I recently installed this valve... Its great however I ran into some annoyances during initial use because it was prematurely venting at mid throttle. Synapse suggested I try a variation of different port configurations "A>B>A+B" and then attempt to adjust the preload screw. I ended up settling on running port A and tightening preload screw half way in from its shipped state. Now it holds great. I love this product although situating it was a pain due to its size and position of the flange on the OVCP. Im running a 12/14b turbo and it will blow off at idle but no where near the sound it has under load.. god damned thing sounds like a bus air brake. BUT.. no more rich condition across the board from leaky valve Oh running the stock MAF i definitely advise going with the Anti Stall kit .. and after install removing battery lead to reset computer.
