Im looking for some to help me with my 88 conquest tsi. Somethings whent out in the bottom end. has a bad knock. Loose flywheel? idk But i cant find a shop around me that wants to mess with it. Im located in Southern Ohio. plz just contact me if you can help. Thanks.

Car is fun to drive and has the parts on it to go really fast and make mad power, but i dont have the money to fix it. Something in the bottom end is bad. Not sure. The clutch was in the car when i bought it. Dont know how many miles are on it.

All the gears shift and drive smooth tho.

Yeah the oil pressure was normal and the temp was as well.

When the clutch is in the knock is gone.It does NOT knock at idle. But the higher the rpm ,the worse the knock.

I just fixed my manifold and exhaust so no. lol its deff a knock. and it just happened all of a sudden. i was in 3rd going up a big hill then at the top i put it in 4th and the car died. then when i pulled over and started it back up it was knocking. It died like 6 times on the way home. I was only a few miles from my house when it happened.

Im going to check the flywheel. Would it cause it to lose power and die going down the road? If it was a rod or bearing idt it would caz it to die just knock like a mofo. But the a throw out bearing or flywheel would, i do belive. lol

Thats what i was thinking. Either flywheel or throw out bearing. I hope its that and not something internaly in my motor. But the knocking goes with the vibration in my shifter and clutch pedal so thats a good sighn.

It knocks going down the road. But when the clutch is down it stops but when you lock it in gear and let out on the clutch it knocks bad. I barley got it home the other night.

Gotta bad knocking. Has plenty of power in 1-3 but 4th and 5th are boggy and wont let the rpms build. The motor will die if you let off the gas. Feels like it coming though my tranny. Throw out bearing? idk. The oil pressure and temp gauges were reading normal and the trans was shifting smooth. Just wondering if anyone good tell me some diff things to check. Thanks.

Sweet. what has to be done to wire the car up right? and will it run alright with 750/750 injectors?

Will i have to get bigger injectors before i use the apexi unit?

Early 2000s model stang. And idk about my power have not had it on a dyno yet. Im looking to get 1000ccs and a tune. But im not sure how to go about tuning it. Ive got a translator and ive messed with the setting but i wanna get megasquirt or something else so i can make big numbers and lots of boost. lol

I have an apexi safc2. And i have my conquest with 750cc injectors,fuel pump, the goods. Its got a maft but thats it, 13psi untuned. is there a way to wire up my apexi unit and tune the car using a wideband? Ive never seen it done but im sure it can be.

I was at a redlight and this kid that i know pulls up behind me in a bone stock gt stang 5spd. The roads were kinda wet so i knew a launch was outta question. so when it turned i just took off normal and of corse he started riding my tail. so when i hit second i mashed it and just started tearing tires and sliding my tail end around. haha then i let off and checked on the stang. I could see his face was like "omfg". No race. Just fun.

I know some of them can be fast but none of the people around here have the money to build them right. haha and yes i was in my conquest and yes its a g-motor. lol I would like to 4g63 swap it. I have an extra 6bolt block. Im thinking about making it a 2.3 stroker and puttin a fp charger on it.

Mk4 Supras are the kings of the street/strip/highway anything. if a j2z is built right nothing can touch it.

So i was pulling out onto ohio state rt 32 this weekend. Not late but it was dark and this truck pulls in front of me. newer ford powerstroke had a stack and some kinda box/tune idc. lol But what was stupid is he had blinder lights on his back bumper....and he had the truck lifted so it was like headlights in my eyes! i change lanes and get beside him, goin bout 60-65ish and he mashs it and hops right back in front of me. So then i let him know wt.... was up. got beside him gave it a rev or two and he took off. Blowing mass smoke out his stack! haha i put it down a little and hit 120 coming outta 4th. he was lost. Then we hit a redlight and he comes up next to my passenger window. One of my dudes was with me and screamed at him. Well lol turns out in was an old dude and he didnt say a word. And he got f-ing left when the light turned. where im from in southern ohio big trucks are everywhere trying to go fast with efi live and s***. But i always show those cow-pullers what fast is! lol
