  1. That's odd... were they complete? They should have a box of universal behind the counter, the autozone here did... A set for any HEI Dist. V8 should fit; like a 90's Camaro or whatever. They will probably be way too long for where your coil packs are mounted though. You can also try NAPA, they should have spools of spark plug wire you can buy. Then you just need straight boots for the plugs and 90 degree for the coil pack.
  2. I do. pics: http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Parts%20for%20Sale/th_DSCF0410.jpghttp://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Parts%20for%20Sale/th_DSCF0411.jpghttp://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Parts%20for%20Sale/th_DSCF0412.jpghttp://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Parts%20for%20Sale/th_DSCF0413.jpg
  3. You should be fine with any of them. They should come with a couple of bags of different end clips.
  4. I used a generic Accel 8mm V8 set. You will need to cut them to fit and crimp the ends on.
  5. I got these on my newest quest but didn't like them, so I put a set of stock wheels on it instead. I'm not sure what the brand is, one of the 2 center caps says "Ultra". Overall they seem to be in pretty nice shape, no curb rash at all. I cleaned them up a bit but they need more work to get the 10 years of crud off and make them really shiny. I threw each on the balancer after taking the tires off and they all looked good; no more than 1/2 ounce off. They had 225/45-16's on all 4. Fronts are 7.5" and rears are 8". The centers on all 4 are stamped with "OFFSET 11MM" I'm not really sure what they are worth, I was thinking $200 +shipping obo. If I'm too high (or low ) let me know. I can ship them or meet within a couple of hours for the right price. I can also mount and balance your tires for the right $$. Paypal, M/O, Cash are all fine. Feel free to ask any questions; I think the pics I took today make them look worse than they are. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Parts%20for%20Sale/th_DSCF0632.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Parts%20for%20Sale/th_DSCF0634.jpghttp://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Parts%20for%20Sale/th_DSCF0635.jpghttp://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Parts%20for%20Sale/th_DSCF0636.jpghttp://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Parts%20for%20Sale/th_DSCF0637.jpg Mounted on the car: http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Cars/th_DSCF0603.jpghttp://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Cars/th_DSCF0605.jpg
  6. Um, unless you cut something you can take the main relay out and splice in to whichever wires you choose and you shouldn't have to re-run or re-ground anything. You can also throw the main relay away if you are using the relay that came with the SDS computer to power the fuel pump since it only powers the fuel pump and injectors. I used the main relay harness for fuel pump power, relay power, and ground; it was one of the easiest things to wire on my setup once I got it all figured out. Just make a couple short wires to jump from the SDS relay to that harness and run the signal wire from the SDS computer.
  7. I used this thread: http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=69717 and a test light to wire the fuel pump. You can get all the feeds you need from that harness and you don't need the stock relay anymore with the SDS computer.
  8. Since you purchased Ultimate you can run the XP Virtual machine without having to re-install the OS. I am using it at work for an older program and it works really well: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx I'd recommend giving that a shot before reinstalling your OS if you have reservations about doing a rebuild.
  9. Julian- Please respond to my emails or PM me as soon as possible regarding my extremely past due order. Thanks
  10. I'm not sure what tools you have available; I re-crimped the hard-lines under the car and put a GM quick-disconnect filter in line near the bottom of the firewall. It ended up being just enough to get the banjo fitting from the bottom of the factory fuel filter to the magna rail.
  11. +1 for strut bars. Also in on shifter(s) depending on price.
  12. That would be awesome; you'd look like Diedrich Bader's character from Office Space: http://www.taylorbrooks.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/lawrence-office-space.jpg Yeah, that's not a handlebar mustache You still kinda look like him though.
  13. I have a non-running, no-title Daytona that I would like to sell. It's black. The interior is pretty nice, exterior not so much in spots. I think the engine had a knock when it was last run, but I really don't remember. It's a V6 auto. Not really sure what it is worth; 300 bucks sound good? Here are some pictures: http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Cars/Daytona/th_DSCF0601.jpghttp://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Cars/Daytona/th_DSCF0595.jpghttp://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Cars/Daytona/th_DSCF0596.jpg Interior: http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Cars/Daytona/th_DSCF0598.jpghttp://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Cars/Daytona/th_DSCF0599.jpghttp://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Cars/Daytona/th_DSCF0600.jpg damaged fender: http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/tarnug/Cars/Daytona/th_DSCF0597.jpg I can deliver it anywhere within reason for the right price.
  14. You really don't; I almost feel bad... almost My friend that came with and helped load it said we deserved it since we've had a pretty long dry spell of losing money or buying stuff that turns out to be junk. I say it's Karma for the rotted out '89 SHP I drove 6 hours to get 5 years ago. I'll throw some pics up when the weather turns less suck, but I'm extremely happy I got the car
  15. Are you still looking to purchase a windshield delo? I may be looking at one myself and am close to you..
  16. I owe kwitte3 a beer or 3 for posting the link Man, I really didn't have room for this car, but who can say no to a rust-free fiji quest? Anyone want to buy a Typhoon?
  17. Thanks for the link; I sent the dude an email. Did you look at the car in person? How is the interior? Any rust on the frame rails or body?
  18. SCIENCE! Why didn't I think of that? Thanks dude. About how large is that gap between the glass and the body with it removed?
  19. Mine is all sorts of rusty; anyone have a decent one for sale?
  20. All of those pistons go to the same crankshaft. If they were directly opposite each-other you would have to stagger the connecting rods somehow. picture the connecting rods going down the cylinders to the crankshaft, it should make perfect sense then
  21. I already edited my post to clarify that point; there is no over site. No point in arguing the pro's and con's of a $200 HD when the dude wants to spend 3-5 on his entire computer. When you look at bang-for-the-buck you have to admit defeat against the $55 Seagate 500GB 7200.12; nothing else compares.
  22. Spend 5 minutes looking through benchmarks and you will see plenty of 7200 rpm HDs beating velociraptors. New technology = faster stuff; spindle speed and cache aren't everything. edit: "beating" is a little misleading/ incorrect. Some benchmarks prefer the Large-platter HDs some prefer the Faster Raptors (ie: raptors dominate seek time of anything but SSDs) However, with everything averaged out you will pay significantly less for more space and performance that is on par if you get a new high-density platter HD over a raptor. Seagate did have that nasty firmware bug with their 10 series drives that turned a lot of people off, but they haven't had any issues with their stuff since. I have a close friend who is a data recovery specialist (the dude takes apart bad HDs for a living) and he got me started on the seagate bandwagon 5 years ago. Honestly all the major vendors are about the same these days; I've seen drives from all of them fail, and some last through some ridiculous abuse. You can game on a 400 dollar rig; you just get to play at 800x600 with all the other settings turned down. It's pretty impressive what some people will put up with to feed their gaming addiction.
  23. Hard to beat 55 bucks for a 500 GB HD that is faster than a velociraptor
