  1. is that 6ohms max or min? my readings were 6.5ohms.. also with it unplugged I was getting 0 volts on one terminal "at the injector", but still getting voltage from the other terminal.. is this correct? if voltage comes from the resistor then I shouldn't have any voltage...? is this correct? this was done with the ignition in the "on" position
  2. no, that is what a misadjusted/improperly installed blowoff sounds like.
  3. My ex said it was the car laughing, she didn't like when I made it stop laughing

  5. I thought that was my job, but I was warned to keep it in certain sections, which is why I remember certain people arguing mute points on certain topics that didn't have a need to, not all of us have a high post count due to being "the all knowing" lol
  6. so after the CTS replacement I drove around and car ran much better but suddenly started bucking intermittently and died at a stop sign.. so disconnected secondary and drove home again, ran sweep test of my TPS and it's doing the go left and then right problem.. on to that part next I guess..
  7. pull dipstick out and smell the oil, if it smells like fuel..
  8. yup, either you get the hang of EFI or EFI hangs u!
  9. so ur plugs are just fouled out. get new plugs, install wideband, try again.
  10. I was wondering what manifold you were talking about.. definitely running rich, I just went through this same thing a few days ago, CTS went bad and I zeroed in on MAFT and it gave me a headache till I tested the CTS and found my problem.
  11. so probably just way too rich, did you have a blind man set the SAFC or did you blindly set it? kinda hard to get fuel set without a visual device telling you the mixture level.. I bet if you pull the plugs and dry them out and it starts up. and what is this eclipse manifold..? are you running a 4g63? MPI? stock FPR.. do you have a fuel pressure gauge?
  12. I'm 30 or so mins from you, 23320, am also interested in 20g..
  13. yeah, that's just a boost limiter for running low octane if I remember right, I always use 93 or better
  14. where's the wideband? apparently your running ludicous rich or no spark.. pull a wire and get a screwdriver.. test posts at the coil, check resistance at the pickup, CTS resistance? tps checks out?
  15. guess my prior warnings didn't merit points (still at zero!).. so apparently caliber did something pretty serious..
  16. very few if any use that solenoid valve on their car, that was the first thing I eliminated.
  17. might be interested in: ISC/MPS intercooler secondary a/c condenser (behind airdam on driver's side) torque tube shaft and driven gear just give me prices on the parts first, juggling my money around a few things right now
  18. so your saying you don't understand why you received them? or why the same person gave them to you? or the explanation didn't make sense?.. confusing post yours is..
  19. as was said, you are a great help, and a warning point is just that, it holds little bearing unless you continue what you were warned not to do. I have received one or two but I just take it as part of the learning curve. Again you are a great help to many members, but sometimes you do come off with the "Caliber's way is the only right way" and some people try to say "not every SQ can be like yours" and you retaliate with "but my way is the best way" and it just keeps on that way in the thread where it happens..
