yea my 22r is at 240k and still kind of going needs a carb rebuild. think it might just get a weber. not maintained i just change the oil filter every 3 months since it gets new oil every other day

i was taking about the tires they left under the car.

240k plus miles abused out of mine before a bearing spin and only 1 head at 230 something k. it you take car of the car and dont go crazy at every stop or car going by these cars last awhile it just takes maintenance and watching what your doing

have the cops finger print the tires. there probably dumb enough to have left them all over the tires.

my boss at work bought the v10 powered m5 she liked her 7 series that she traded in better and the m5 had all kinds of issue's so that got traded in on a Porsche Cayenne turbo s which she loves

egr is not plugged and the temp sensor for the ac i capped but ran it for awhile with it uncapped. if i remember right the lines to the charcoal canister under the maf i just left open and pluged the line running to the oil pan for the oil separator

i also know quite afew places in nashville that a monster truck will drag it's frame :eek1bluegreen: only state i've lived in that had pot holes big enough to blow out a tire and break a coil spring. and almost swellow a tractor trailer :hmm3grin2orange: now shelby i just said it was a factory setup i didn't say that you wouldn't need a oversize and over weight license all states have weight limits on trucks for bridge safety and what not

to tell you the truth Shelby that truck is a factory frame length setup it's made that long to accommodate the 70g sleepers/small house's they make now. also to accommodate extra support wheels for those extreme weight loads

i might be able to help with 2 and 3 2 the volt gauge in these cars are prone to failure best bet get a aftermarket one 3 could be bad ujoints like you said or a bad transmission mount now for a clutch you can go on ebay and get a sprung 6 puck for fairly cheap or go to the parts store and pay about the same for something that probably wont take much abuse before slipping again. make sure you get the clutch for a 83 to 86 non intercooler car. the throw out bearing on the intercooled cars is different and will cause alot of road side repairs pushing the piston back in every so often when you do decide to shift hard trust me i learned the hard way.

i dont believe 83's have that test plug i've never seen one on mine could of changed on later year models. make sure the FPR has a good vacuum hose to the port right under the FPR. and then run the test hose into a spare tank/can and make sure it's not going to go flying everywhere and see what its at then

his is the same way and thats crossed my mind to but on early mustangs the trunk floor is the top of the gas tank so you need to be careful there anyway

why are you looking for a locking gas cap. are people stealing gas from the car because most people in this country are to stupid no realize the caps on the back of the car and probably cant get it open anyway if its the twist off. they'll probably find it easier to just remove the drain plug from the tank if she's had the tank replaced.

i dont know whats still working on the car but my ac and cruise where deleted before i started running the 2 vac lines 2 more for a total of 4 if you have a ebc that reads boost and aftermarket boost gauge
