i've seen air/fuel reading in 2 83's and both were lean at idle mine was 1 of them but would would bounce from rich to lean after warmup. you also got to remember that the o2 sensor needs to warmup to. also might want to check the o2 sensor when they get old or start fouling they can give false and weird readings.

think the part number is bj890. turbo or not this gasket looks to be alot better then the felpro's i've seen.

83's are crazy and mystical beasts

i never hit max boost in 1st i always ran out of rpms with the gear 1st has. 2nd thru 5th aren't a problem with getting max boost. i could never figure out the fuel cut issue between non IC and IC'd. the only difference i noticed after the IC install was the car felt alot weaker but seemed to accelerate faster but not by much.

cant tell you actual mpg but i would avg anywhere from 400 to 460ish miles per tank but my cars different

the real question is do we ever really leave

i know the 88/89 one can hold lots of boost if done right. mine seen 30psi plus afew times because i hooked the mbc up wrong and seen 20psi daily from my 18g for 2 years. the bearing on rod 2 failed not the headgasket. and the stock gasket held great also without a issue tell the head cracked.

i'm with you. my butt dyno said no gain and noticed alot slower spool up time. the fuel cut on mine did the same thing after the IC install. it was never at a certain psi it would kick in anywhere from 5psi all the way up to 15psi on a autometer gauge. the fuel cut came into play more with the IC installed then with it not installed.

i ran there stage 2 for over a year with alot of hard use from a 18g and track times. i'd say that it would be a great clutch for a stock car or a car with few mods. i wanted to try the stage3 after that but with my fidenza breaking teeth i never got around to trying it.

not a 83 airdam corners are to sharp. if they were more round then yes. that be a custom job and sully when you get there ask him if he can make another.

depending on the shape of your engine unless you've rebuilt it i'd stay away from the 18g. they like to make motors go boom :hmm3grin2orange:
