  1. He had to put his house up as collateral to afford the insurance, and he isn't the bit remorseful of the accident. Considering on top of the insurance, the taxes to pay for winning it are probably near 100k, more than what he makes in a year, I Guarantee he crashed it to save his own tail and get 300k out of the full coverage insurance. -Justin
  2. oh man, I was planning on a race prepped head for my winter project, but I don't have that much right now. I'm watching this closely...after Christmas I'm buying this if it's still available. I'm also 20 minutes from you, so I'd be coming to pick it up. I'll keep in touch -Justin
  3. I don't know... it's W58 code which is the bright white, but there are signs of a respray so I don't know if it was done in factory w58. The inside fenders don't look as...deep? in color. If that makes sense. LOL or in your car -Justin
  4. What upppp yall, I've got something else in mind for my shift knob now. This one was too long of a throw on the stock shifter, but if you have a short shifter, its great. It sits right up near the steering wheel so it's great for track racing when you want the shift knob right there near your hand. Plus, it just looks awesome! It was 60 new, and is in perfect shape so I'm asking 40 shipped. Also includes a free shift boot too! it has "EN" (exclusive nights) engraved in script on top, with a heart ingraved around that. http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc92/pocketrocket1331/Branson%202011/DSCF0960.jpg thanks, -Justin

  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iG0i0g7Csc8 lol I'm buying mine this weekend! woooo.
  7. keep your head up man, I have faith in you and your family. You all are in my prayers. -Justin
  8. bro, I'm not arguing you about geometery or suspension. I know how that ish works, and I know my car is lower than ideal geometry. Step off that fact, I'm trying to understand why you personally, want to spend 4k for these teins when you yourself said you could use the 800 dollar koni/sleeve over combo to make the best handling set up? Again, I'm not arguing suspension geometry and really I'm not arguing anything, I just want to know why you want to drop so much on the tein's when you yourself said you could do best with a much cheaper option. With that said, I do agree the high quality brand and design is worth more than anything else available for our cars, but I'd personally say 2500 max, or 3k if they were height adjustable without shorting the shock stroke. again, personal opinion. -Justin
  9. If you can set it up in a perfectly geometrical design without coilovers, then why are you wanting to spend 4k for tein coilovers though? that's what I don't understand. You're arguing you can make it the best with simple sleeve overs and inserts which cost like....800 total? Yet you're justifying 4k for coilovers... Also, D_ven is right, they are really aren't height adjustable while keeping full shock travel, they have the same height adjustment principle as sleeve overs. The lower you go, the shorter the shock travel. Which REALLY makes it un-justifiable for the price -Justin
  10. I seem to remember you arguing to me that coilovers are pointless and sleeve overs with aftermarket inserts are just as good if not better..... and now you want 4k USD tein coilovers -Justin
  11. I was really excited when I saw that picture. Then I saw the price. 4k USD not including shipping from japan. I do love doing ish the right way with proper parts, but I'm years from being able to justify 4k on coilovers for a 20 yr old car. -Justin
  12. If I didn't already have my comp clutch stage4.... You get ish done, mang. good stuff. -Justin
  13. yeah I hit my front's lowering limit because I didn't cut enough of the old tube off. This winter they are getting redone again...you need to redo yours too. Find a really good shop that can cut the weld (but not the tube behind it) and cut off some old tube and reweld. -Justin
  14. I like the high fender line of that s2k widebody. In fact, I swore to myself if I ever happen to own an s2000, it must have that particular widebody on it for an aggressive track look. I vote mimic the s2k fender but with quest lines. -Justin
  15. I still don't understand how you fit 265's on a 9 -2mm with -3* camber... I swapped my rears up front one day for giggles, 245/50 on a 9+0 with -2.5*...couldn't even lower the lift all the way cause the fender was sitting on top of the tire I'm guessing it has to do with the tall sidewalls? -Justin
  16. John, I like you. You get s*** done, and and it's good s*** too. also, Jason, how did you fit 265's on a 9 wide up front? is your car skyjacked?! -Justin
  17. F it, Robert I'll spend the dough for those clear lensed E code's when I get my next paycheck. No word when I'll actually get my HIDs installed though lol. we can compare between the fluted and the clear. -Justin
  18. I've been thinking of switching to hella housings, but imma try out these ebay ones i have before dropping the dough -Justin
  19. well obviously you don't want to buy new wheels so why even ask? Nut up and spend the 50 for spacers.
  20. LMFAO robert, that was freaking awesome. I love you hahahaha As far as engine rebuilds, they are dirt simple to rebuild. I saw a dude pull his 2 rotor with no engine lift by himself. had it stripped down and just dead lifted it out of the engine bay LOL. all the parts fit on an averaged sized table/counter. It was pretty damn cool. It's the vacuum system that will kill you. especially stock twin turbos -Justin
  21. from what I can tell, they are IRS with leaf springs
  22. Yeah I wanna see the housing and kit you have! I have ebay H4 housings and DDM tuning 5k 55w hi/low for my headlights and 3k 35w for my fogs. Have yet to really sit down and figure out what the hell is going on with the fuse relays they came with so I can install them LOL do that rolling shot through the desert at dusk/dawn again, but this time the headlights won't look like candles quality ish as always man, nice job. -Justin
