im looking to do a tranny swap for an rx-7 tranny but not sure what all i need to change out i know i need a new bell housing but is the drive saft the same

whats a good replacement or good place to get upgrades for my tranny so i can handle the stress of drifting

im not looking for more hp. i just think it would be cool. the olny really hard thing to do would be making sure the turbos were boosting the same and blowing off at the same time. im not even really sure if theres anuff room under the hood and cooling mite be an issue. as for the questions its the stock motor, and u dont have to have two headers. you just have to basicly split one header.

I have full access to a metal fab shop and I'm more then willing to put in the wrench time. I spend all last summer in the motor and reached my HP goal. Now its time for the body Im painting it and want to do something fun to the body. And yes I am a damn proud ricer.

trying to deside what door kits to get for my 86 wide body. and was just wondering what others thought.

cant find a rebuild kit for it and right now a force of god couldnt put it into 4th or reverse if someone knows were i can find a rebuild kit for it ill rebuild it

so my tranny went out a few months ago (in my 86 staion) and sence i work overnights i just dont time to do it when i dropped my tranny the clutch fork was unhooked from the throw out bairing the clips came off but it looks like theres something missing and sence iv never torn apart my tranny like this i dont know dos any one know were i can find a detailed mapping of the tranny or clutch asembly right know it runs but every time i let off the clutch the car dies it acts like its stuck in gear

so i lost first gear in my 86 starion, and im trying to deside what to get the tranny of the same year or an 87. Iv heard that the 87 is better but have no idea why any thoughts?

it makes noise from the trany when its just siting if i try to drive forward i cant go over 1500 rpms or it locks up and in revers i cant go over 2000 rpms i cant figure out if its the rear axle locking up or the tranny, i ripped a part the rear end i know i have to replace the pasanger side rear drive shaft and bearings and boot but i havent torn out the tranny yet im thinking the lil clips used to hold the through out bearing came out the problem im having finding part around here in iowa is like trying to find gold in the arctic any ideas on whats wrong or places for parts would be nice

so a after a lil more work i find that i have a bad weel bearing and shaft cuz the boot came off and i lost all my grease but the second dairy problem sound like my through out bearing came loose theres something moving in the trany and so long a i keep the clutch pushed in its fine but and soon as i let up it theres this very loud metal on metal clancking sound coming from derectly under the the car

so i was driving to work and my rear end desided to look up randomly i pull in at work and look at it and my cv boot in the back is gone dose anyone know were i can get parts for the rear end and any thoughts on what else it could be would be sweet im sure it the rear pasenger side drive shaft but i havent torn it apart yet and cant for a couple days its an 86 starion

i get the clip change but there is no place to clip them on the wiper arms there is just a hole were the pin on the wiper blade (like in the pic i posted) thats it no clip end like a normal car. the pic i posted thats a pic of the wiper blade not the arm i was hoping there was a new arm or end i could buy.

yes i did go to a basic auto parts store first i went to 3 no one has seen wiper blades made like this its not just a clip on mine the pins used to hook up the wiper blades are in the wiper blades not the wiper arms like they always are ill admit to being a little slow but im not a moron

so i need new wiper blades on my 86 mitsubishi starion and the stock blades are imposable to find right now i just drilled out the stock wiper arms and ran a bolt threw it but dose any one know were i can get ether the stock style blades or new wiper arms i checked at a chrysler dealer ship and they can get them.

why not go electric?

so im looking for a good electric boost gauge any body have any ideas
