  1. Can you point in the right direction to where I can buy them? The dealership? Any idea how much they run?

  6. Looking for a 5 speed transmission for an 87 conquest. Mines screwed. Anyone have one in good shape or know of anywhere I can get a good rebuilt one?
  7. I don't really have a problem with getting a new turbo that can mount up the same as the old one. I don't want to mess around with changing the manifold or getting different piping$ are there any out there that can just swap in?
  8. Yes the car is running right. Just rebuilt the motor. I know the thing will hold a lot more boost, just trying to figure out how to crank it up a bit without to massively modifying the manifold
  9. Is there some aftermarket wastegate or piece I can attach to the wastegate? I admit I'm a bit turbo dumb

  13. Indiana, The wording makes it sound like I'm asking if I need an oil separator at all. I'm certainly not planning on skipping that part. Just didn't know if it would be dangerous to re-use my old considering how much debris it had in the catch and pump.
  14. Interesting. But it sounds like the general consensus is that I can make the old one work
  15. I just got done rebuilding my motor. The person i bought it from used the wrong clutch and caused all kinds of problems but among them was the main thrust bearing got chewed up and and dug into the crank. needless to say there was a lot of debris in the motor. I put in new pistons, new crank, had the motor balanced, hot tanked, and bought a used oil pump and catch. So now the question is do I NEED a new oil separator or can i just clean the old one out good. I didnt dare us my old oil pump and catch after seeing how much debris there was. There were relatively large shavings of metal and little bits all over them. Problem is finding an oil separator is apparently impossible. So whats the verdict? Keep trying to find one or can i make the one i have work witought to much cause for concern?
  16. bought an alpine cd player and dash kit. busted the cheap plastic to hell trying to intall it. doesnt seem to want to work. can anyone recommend a good place to go for one? ive seen a few pics of people who have dash kits that put another dash pocket in the unused bay.
