  1. Unfortunately the previous bidder did not follow through on the purchase. So it's back up on Ebay. Now ebay item number 290229939818 MCA
  2. Well folks, the Conquest that has been in my family since new has seen better days and we need to clean up around here as we are packing up to move to South Carolina. It hasn't run for a couple years and has sat in my carport getting dryrotted tires and mice in the glovebox. Lots of good parts still - including a Tim C alternator kit. I THINK the cause of its not running is the fuel pump but I'm not sure. It would crank but not fire when I had a charged battery connected to it. It's on ebay now - item number 290223750813 It's due to close Apr-23-08 18:00:00 PDT Price is currently $760 with a couple dozen people watching the auction. I've put a pretty good description of its condition on the ebay listing but send me questions through ebay if you've got 'em. Thanks, MCA
  3. >>...P.S. - May require a 1 - 2" longer belt. Mine and some others did not, but at least 2 people said they needed a longer one. Whether that is due to a shorter than OEM belt being used, don't know?<< I was one of the early buyers of this alternator and was probably the first one who needed a longer belt to get the thing to work. That said - I had gone through the stock alternator and two rebuilds prior to buying Tim's masterpiece. This thing just plain works. MCA '88 Quest
