Solid rear subframe bushings
Laodicea replied to Marker1989's topic in Rims, Suspension and Brake Mods
If someone could give measurements of a poly bushing. I think it would be a good start. I don't want to take mine apart either to make these. -
I need 4 of the 5.5" straight tie rod adjuster that is on the driver side steering link. 75081 zip.

I was shocked at the price...I can buy two widebody rollers before I would buy two window rollers for that...LOL

They are simple Z shaped brackets I made by bending some thick straight stud tie in's you get at Home Depot or Lowes etc. You may get a good idea of what they are by the two pics below...that is all the pics I have of them. I didn't have to drill any holes on the bottom of the car the way I placed in on. It uses some existing bolt holes. I did take off the factory frame tie down brackets from the bottom of the car.

Well I had my computer hooked up to an older 65" 1080p with the RBG cables for years and I was just tired of dragging the screen over for anything I wanted to watch and then try to stretch back from the computer to try and see if I had the mouse on the fullscreen button. Then when I wanted to pause I had to get up and do the stretch/make sure mouse was on the correct part of the screen to pause/play again. The Roku allowed me to watch all the same channels/netflix and more without going to the computer with the handy remote. Just saying...you might get tired of doing that too after 6 years like I did. Roku is not a dish...it runs through your internet connection...thus getting internet channels. -
Ok guys this has been almost a year since any updates. LOL I need to see some rear widening...I got some 18x12 -44 in mind begging for me to buy and put on the rears.

LOL that second video looks like the track is wet all the way down. Good run.

I finally broke down and got a 1989 Vol 2 Electrical Conquest manual....and low and behold the relay locations for the defogger and anti theft horn relays have been swapped....it sure helps to know where the relay is that you are trying to test....the 88 manual is backwards. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t18/gr8white1/IMAG0598_zps53ba34bc.jpg I had the relay hidden under the fender ever since i went mpi thinking it was really the theft horn relay...so yeah..about 4 years ago my defogger quit working because it was corroding under the fender out of sight. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t18/gr8white1/IMAG0596_zps4b197e4c.jpg http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t18/gr8white1/IMAG0597_zps947944df.jpg http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t18/gr8white1/IMAG0603_zps5d9c1b7f.jpg This is the only relay on the car I can find like this....see how the prongs are offset...two smaller then two larger slightly further apart? I cannot seem to find the right relay when I try and look it up online....anyone know where to get one or send me one..??

rack and pinion conversion
Laodicea replied to billmongold's topic in Rims, Suspension and Brake Mods
Ok with all that stuff up above I did. I also...am making it a bolt on 240 rack. Because with a 2JZ under the hood you have no room for the brackets to weld on to the k-member because of the oil pan clearance...it has to sit lower....also there will be no tilt to the brackets making the pinion shaft stab straight instead of leaning back towards the firewall. Meh it will still work. I should have it all in by friday and I will update on how it turns out. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t18/gr8white1/Steering/IMAG0559.jpg http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t18/gr8white1/Steering/IMAG0556.jpg http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t18/gr8white1/Steering/IMAG0557.jpg http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t18/gr8white1/Steering/IMAG0563.jpg -
