  4. this is a thread about customers that i have dealt with, why would you post here?
  5. i would prefer to have them sent back for a rebuilt and see if the problem was in the parts or the labor. i usually give refunds if i cannot repair or find a problem.
  6. go with bg sychroshift II it makes shifting like butter. sounds like you dont have a sychro problem but a internal shift likeage problem or a shim like shelby said...
  7. easy killer, i have built many awd transmissions for talons and thats what they do. so thats my first thought but my bad if im not familiar with starquest transmissions....soo everyone just disregard what i have said. sorry for wasting anyones time.
  8. call forced performance and order a fp black restrictor. they use it on the evo and it drops the high pressure to be acceptable for a garrett TO4B/S/E center section.
  9. too much oil pressure, you need to run a restrictor.
  10. i have a 1998 v70 which is the same platform and they are known for bending rods if not tuned properly. if its just a glt light pressure turbo dont bother getting it because anything above 14psi and the motor is pretty much spagetti, however if its the high pressure turbo/t5/ "R" 2.3 model it will take around 20 psi before it gets bent rods. before you buy i would do a cold and hot compression test just to see how healthy the motor really is and what your going to get yourself into. the big dissadvantage of the 2.3-2.4 blocks from 93-98 is that the rings like to wear out fast. at around 150k your going to see 130-140 psi in the cylinders and thats pretty low. the 2.3 should see around 180 new because of the 8.0-1 compression and the 2.4 will see around 225-230 via 8.5-1 compression. if the compression is good and doesnt have any codes thrown, i would say go for it. when they are healthy and maintained they can be a powerhouse but most of the time (true of every car) people just drive them and forget about the rest of maintenance and repair that european cars need which is higher than normal. so compression test cold and hot and go from there!
  11. that would be how it would work, if i was running a scam or con. since i am not i do not need more orders to satisfy current customers and members.
