  1. im not sure. i thought you just lined your car up if you wanted to do it. just got home from work so ill ask my dad to ask when he goes in to work tomorrow morning

  3. last year we had about 10 cars. dont think anyone from AZ is coming yet but scotty is comin from nevada i think
  4. haha that might work. maybe we could pretend to be a vendor. just sell some clothes pins or something to make it technically legit.
  5. you are correct. i just wasnt sure how what you meant be maturity i guess. i dont disagree and i was not trying to bash your idea or make it seem undesirable. what i really was trying to get across was that we do not necessarily have the power to implement such an idea. i think its a decent idea but like you said, saying things doesnt do crap unless someone does something about it. which in this case would be bringing it up to the organizers. so if youd like to change the way they run the event then you should go ahead and do that. ill gladly assist you in any way that i can. id like to see a solid community out here since we have so much potential +100. right now i think this is a big problem. getting people to show up is what will make a big difference and its something that we can easily do something about. i understand if peoples cars arent running or if its simply not in someones budget but id really hate to see a lack of attendance due to sheer laziness. if we can fix this problem then i think wed have a grand old time.
  6. congratulations to stallionproject86 on getting 3rd place in the MOD t-shirt design contest!!
  7. i agree with everything except for this. maturity does not equal knowledge. a mature piece of cheese is not necessarily a good piece of cheese but i do see the point that youre trying to get across. however, since the meet is run by the organizers and not the attendees it would be up to them to implement an idea like this and our part to offer it as a suggestion. but, i do get the feeling that they like it organized into the different models simply because it feels like "order" to them. it might be worth bringing it up to them though if it could create camaraderie between car groups and help smooth the gap between what is almost a high-school-esque gathering of different cliques. .
  8. for the most part they leave us a little space but last year the eclipses ran over our turf a little. once we get a final-ish number ill let them know how many we should have. but technically it is first come first serve so we can really only hold out for so long. the key is getting there early
  9. i know alp247 has a very nice fiji that he brought to MOD last year. dont think he lives in glendale though.
  10. pics of the rear wheels? what kind of shape are they in?
  11. in that horsepower range you could be looking at something like an 18G turbo obviously with all the necessary engine reinforcements, injectors, etc.
  12. MOD was announced today by Mitsubishi! It will happen on July 14th, 2012 at the headquarters in Cypress, CA. We had a decent showing last year so lets continue to show the SoCal Mitsu community the coolest cars at the show. Be warned, there is limited parking available so in order to guarantee a spot in the parking lot, we will need to be there really early. there is always a line to get in and that line was about a mile long last year. Im thinking we should be there by 5:30 AM. if you have any better ideas, let me know. Also, another member and my self arrived from the East which worked a whole lot better than coming from the west. ill show you why once i get a map up. 14. how far Nor were you guys thinking? haha
  15. i recently received my suspension bushing kit in the mail from the Stedebani GP and the bushings look good. one problem though... i dont know which bushings go where some of them look slightly different than the stock ones and the single page of directions/parts/included/telephone# wasnt super duper helpful but i was able to figure some things out from it. what i need from someone is to identify each of the items on this list with a picture or some sort of description from the following parts supplied list: (the crossed out items are the ones that i have figured out) (2) Radius Rod "A" Bushing (2) Radius Rod "B" Bushing (2) Front Control Arm "A" Bushing (2) Front Control Arm "B" Bushing (2) Rear Control Arm, Forward Inner "A" Bushing (2) Rear Control Arm, Forward Inner "B" Bushing (2) Rear Control Arm, Rearward Inner "A" Bushing (2) Rear Control Arm, Rearward Inner "B" Bushing (2) Rear Control Arm, Rearward Inner Bolt Sleeve (Steel) (4) Rear Control Arm, Forward and Rearward Outer Bushing (2) Torque Tube Support Cross Member "A" Bushing (2) Torque Tube Support Cross Member "B" Bushing (1) Grease thanks guys
  16. i got mine in like-new condition for 300 i think
  17. does anybody by chance know what part number the front springs are and what number the rears are? the box didnt have directions and when i put them in the first time the car had a pretty aggressive front to back rake (the front seemed way too low). i saw that someone else had this problem (polarisman14 i think) on one of the cars that they bought and i want to make sure before i reverse them. if nobody here knows ill call eibach tomorrow and see if they know. there were two sets of numbers printed on the springs 268078, 6003102 268077, 8530001 these ones are shorter but the coils are thicker
  18. i have my bushings in hand and they look good. however, im having a tough time figuring out where all these bushings go. so far all ive figured out are the "radius rod bushings" and the "rear control arm rearward inner bushings" is there a thread somewhere with a good guide? the installation procedure on the sheet that came with the parts isnt much help. thanks
  19. was just checking to see if anyone had already posted this....obviously they had! haha sad that these cars are so rare when theyre so cool! i dont get it. smh.
  20. ya i added that after an incident with a cat. not pretty.
  21. my god thats big huh? not as big as mine though http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i312/hairyboid4/Stuff/big_turbo.jpg
