  1. I recently sent a modified exhaust manifold with a money order for the work and return shipping, to Mike to be ceramic coated by a friend of his. The time frame and turnover was as he said it would be. His communication through out the transaction was great. I was never left wondering what was going on. The manifold came back looking %100 better and as Mike promised. I'm really looking forward to running it. Thanks for a great transaction Mike
  2. I recently sold an 83' hood to Shaun. He needed to make payments on it, and we set up a schedule. He made his payments when promised and even made the final one early. I would highly recommend doing business with him. He is a man of his word. Thanks Shaun
  3. there is a turbo version of the grand cherokee. Just thought I'd trow that out there.
  4. I was already running the 3in when I did the mod. I assume that's why I didn't notice any difference in sound. (that and being a little deaf in one ear) It definitely one of the best things I've done for my car so far. I sit right above the second mark and it doesn't leave there
  5. Great info! Pretty neat to see differences through out states too. I love the fact I can do darn near anything with my tint here. I have two shades off blue myself
  6. I noticed no real sound differance with the 83 clutch fan I put in.
  7. Thanks Dcrasta. I used a translucent blue powder-coating on the VC. Some powder coaters would refer to it as "candy shell"
  8.  Well though there is some fine tuning left to do I got my *DM Hard pipes on. The spool on my 12a is near instant at 12psi After I removed and cleaned the IC, (mineral spirts and xxxx steel wool) Chad did the mod on it for me, removeing the old pipes off the end tanks and replaceing them with the 2 1/4 straight pipes. They have to be 3in on either side and formed to the shape of the end tanks. I also straightened the fins on the IC useing two flat head screw drivers and alot of patience.  After getting pic from Yanos on how to cut the radiator support wall, the install was pretty straight forward. The power steering cooling line needed to be moved after taking off two 12mm bolts that secure it. After the pipes were set one of the bolts can be put back on. There's also a bracket on the header panel on the left hand side that needed to have the ridge on it shaved down. The time was well worth the pay off ;D I wanted to share a picture with you all. Hope you like blue  http://webpages.charter.net/justind23/kdmhp1.jpg http://webpages.charter.net/justind23/kdmhp2.jpg Â
  9. I was recently in L.A. with another member to pick up a Starion for the other member. Upon arrival it had been discovered that the brake master cylinder was bad on the car. Kellydahman had made outstanding efforts to get us one from a parts store but apparently there (the parts store) idea of refurbuished and our were totally different. Enter Rahsaan. He showed up right after he got off work with a good replacement. No charge. Now it wasn't my car that this went on but, rest assure if he hadn't brought it I would still be in L.A. with two sad kids and one mad woman here in OR. Then when we had problems on the ride home, he was ready to help as soon as he got our call, even though we were about 2 1/2 hours from him at least. Â Rahsaan, thank you very much for everything. I appreciate you being there in our time of need, but then I would excpect nothing less from a fellow Marine. Semper Fi brother!
  10. recently I was in L.A. picking up a car with another member. we ran into some problems on the way home and thought at one point we may be stranded. Jason was one of a couple people called for help. Within a couple minutes he had it posted in the BS section looking for someone in the area that could help us out. In the long run it wasn't neccesary but, I still appreciate the time and effort he put in to try to help us out. Jason has always been there to help me out when he could. Thanks Again Jason
  11. Well again Chad was there for me. I was recently in LA picking up a car with another member, and on the way home to Oregon we ran into some issues. One of the first calls I made was to Chad. He was there to answer my questions and to help me troubleshoot the problem. He also went out of his way to find a member in the local area to help us out. I appreciate all the time you put in for us Chad. Thanks Again
  12. There was an attempt to reproduce the DOHC that Chad has but there were issues. Mainly the price of developing it. You would be looking at maybe $10K just to get things started. It isn't a bolt on. Chad still has it at this time. There's a thread in GP about it.
  13. Pictures don't do it justice. Looks better in person and rides even better
  14. What kind of strut bar do you have. I've already done this mod too and am thinking of getting a strut bar soon. I think I'm going to get the S&M set that ESIrType? sells.
  15. Chad has also made room for a bigger IC. I'm not sure how big you want to go but this is about as big as you can get. He ended up removeing the actuall inside of the bumper as well as having to eliminate the fog lights thought they still look like they are there. Here's a pic... http://webpages.charter.net/justind23/chad4.jpg
  16. I just got an 88' LSD from David. Great communication. The shipping was reasonable as was the price. It was packed very well. I look forward to dealling with him again if need be. Thanks David for a great transaction ;D
  17. I, as the rest, recieved a very nice set of injector clips from Alan. Shipping was fast and packed well. The price was also outstanding for the quality. Very smooth transaction. Thanks again Alan
  18. It dependes on how you payed. Generally with pay-pal or money-orders after 30 day you can file a complain. Ther is also a internet fraud agency that you can file a complaint with. Also if it comes down to it you can go through local law enforcment. Just save EVERY document, recipt, and correspondance as evidance of his crime, because in fact after thirty days it is a crime. If you used a money-order through the mail it's also mail fraud which can carry a penelty of 10years/$10,000. what's this guys real name? where does he live? Maybe some of us could give you a hand.
  19. I picked up a clutch fan and shroud from Josh. Very happy with it. Great guy to do buisness with. Shame he doesn't have a Quest now. Nice All-Trac though ;D Thanks Josh
  20. I was just thinking that if in the future, about 10-15 years, if I want to go fully restored stock. I don't want to do any thing that I can't change back. I agree on the electric belts and have had the manual conversion done to the point it is for a couple of months now, but I'm also trying to plan ahead for when this car is a classic. (not that it already isn't in my opinion.)
  21. No problem. If I decide to go that route I will post some pics. I think I'd like to check on an upholsterer first to see about a fabrication of the top trim piece.
  22. Rigt on. Thanks. Where, approximatly are the weld points on the web?
  23. Well I've asked Rich in the post Paul87quest put up. He say's (as does Starion88esir) that wind noise or a bad seal aren't an issue. He may post picture later as well. I don't want to cut the car, but if there's a way to replace the piece in the future I may just do it. If that isn't the case, I will be trying uhpolostery shops to see what kind of fabrication can be done. I figure with both sets of trim (86&88) from the top of the door (pic#3) I should have a good shot at starion88esir second suggestion. I'll post my findinds ASAP.
  24. Having removed it yourself, do you think there's any way to remove the web piece without cutting, or in a way I could replace them in the future if I decide to?
