The idle I have running smooth at low MS (~1.1ms), not all injectors can do that. Up until last night at about 2am our time, you were not working anything out "between you". I think it obvious that you were not. Everything you have stated in here has been a lie. Apparently you don’t have a deal, or you would have paid his money back to him when you sold the car. Ask Marty if I am now not included. I offered to help him get his money back, and he really wanted me to. Here I am now. These are not scare tactics. They will take place if you do not return the money. That, as I gather, was from two weeks ago (as in he talked to you two weeks ago prior to above and you stated you were concerned. Since it’s so delicate, you are required to pay a shipping company $1000 dollars to ship this delicate hair drier. You inform the company you purchased this hair drier from that you will need some time to arrange for shipping (~two months) and made sure that was ok with the selling company. They AGREE. However, after realizing that keeping the hair drier after the agreement was to much hassle for any reason, they received another order and sold that single stocked item to someone else. What would happen to the company if they just... oops... forgot your contact information? Completely. Then you never get reimbursed, you call the company over and over and it’s almost as if they closed the doors! But wait, you have no money now to buy your hair drier. You have found another one, but haven't the money to make the purchase. What do you do? A) Threaten legal action and hope for a response Take legal action and collect up to 3 times the amount owed A and B will be followed in that order respectively. I take back the comment about scare tactics. Sure, they are scare tactics. Scare tactics in my book are always followed up by actions. I can give you lawyer contact information very quickly if you refuse to return the money to Marty on the agreed upon time you two set. This way you can verify a licensed lawyer will be ready to take your call. Likewise, if that is not enough for you, that phone call you made will be followed up by a letter by registered mail that will inform you of a pending lawsuit. If you do not wish to believe what I say, that really does not bother me at this point. In fact, it’s not even my money that is lost. However, this *IS* my time. When I have to take time out of my day to help a friend deal with someone like you, I feel inclined to send you a bill.

So Tom is the liar? He said in that very post that he got that info from you. Which is it? You all are contradicting yourselves. Tom says your a standup guy, you say he's a liar about contacting you, so therefore given Tom's credibility for "lying" your not a stand up guy. I will let him decide if two weeks is ok with him, however after I was done with the conversation last night, I called my lawyer, and he's waiting for the go from Marty. After speaking with him, he told me that it might fall under "Unfair business practices" or something of the like, which would entitle him to up to THREE TIMES the original amount. My lawyer (which is also a family member) has family (my family) that lives in VA. The papers will be serves at no cost to Marty. It may take longer through the system, but it'll be a very profitible investment for Marty if you just keep his cash. Thats a possible 300% return! I will go out of my way to make sure people know who and what you are until his money is returned, then it is up to you to prove to the community that you NEVER do this again. You get more from more boost then you will get from 1 point of compression. Pumping losses and airflow compromises even with a worked over head. The problem with LESS compression ratio is the support of a bigger turbo becomes harder. You A. explaination states you will not need the monster fuel pump... Well your likely right as you wont be making as much power. Depends on your goals. 300hp on boost vs 300hp on compression is going to take similar fuel requirements if your going to stay below the fuel pumps flow/pressure curve. Your right. But no matter how that works, boost or not, you have to have the same amount of air density to make similar power, therefore this wouldn't be a good arguement. If I want 300hp, I still have to have all that air go through the valves, intake, and head. In fact, you will certainly need a few miracles short of a professional race motor to get there, with a professional race motor pricetag. I think 8:1 is not a bad choice. I will be around that when my other motor is all setup. I probably see more problems with the 7:1 compression motor (along with Tim_c) than others will as I am at 5500 ft ASL. My effective static compression ratio is likely closer to 6:1-6.5:1 at this altitude. Joel

Yeah. I love the product. I do. Problem is there are 2 people in Haltech USA, 1 is a tech. Sometimes they are hard to get ahold of. I will say these are TOP NOTCH guys. 100% winners. But Haltech as a whole doesn't have the man power to answer all the questions. I've had to wait 3 days for an answer from them as to how busy they are. However, anyone on this site that needs haltech assistance, I will gladly give. I love the product, and I think it can do well on these cars. I think the SDS and Hawks can do just as well, but I don't like either interface personally. Joel

Why is this? I've had little issue with my haltech or getting support. The VENDOR should be your first line of support, NOT haltech directly. I like my haltech, and still would not choose differently with that and the hawk being two of the choices I've looked at and over. Joel

Its hard to feel HP. Even the guys here with extremely well setup cars would love to claim that in the feeling (butt dyno) but in reality its 400 or so ft/lbs and 275-300whp. Joel

No disrespect, but please post dyno sheets/time slips. Its not that we couldn't fathum the possibility, its just we hear people claim this stuff all the time. What they dont tell you is that is flammable. I've seen that stuff ignite on a turbocharger/exhaust manifold (not over open flame). Likewise, its a PITA to get all the water/antifreeze out of the system, which you MUST do for this stuff to work. Its also very expensive. Joel

I did some checking for you on the hawk ecu. The hawk ECU apparently DOES support a reluctor type, and glenn (if I recall right) never could make the stock dist work. I think the triggers in the stock dist are just not aligned right, or something. If you want to use a dist, you may need to buy a magna dist from aussie. Sorry I can't give anymore feed back on that. As far as the trigger wires, that depends on the dist you use, and all the hawk guys are using aussie dists that I believe have four wires instead of 3 like the stocker. Joel

ITB's are going to be rough for lower RPM power. Not sure what the goal of ITBs would be on this car, cost effectively. You may or may not know that already, but I thought I'd jump in a remind, ITBs usually dont wake up until higher RPM's, which we dont have much of to begin with. Joel
