  1. I dig on swine, Royales with cheese too.
  2. Hi Monty! It's like a reunion seeing this thread. most mods are not active anymore Sure new mods could be added. Here is the problem we have with that. Jimmy and the other people actually running the site need to decide whom to consider to be mods. I KNOW member voting will not be considered, this site is not a democracy nor is it high school government class. I have no idea who is on enough that they read every thread on the boards. That is really what is needed. I did so for YEARS and enjoyed it. I have since moved on. I enjoy poking around the BS forum. I help out with VM stuff through PM's but really I have lost vast amounts of knowledge so I can't rip off things from the top of my head on troubleshooting. I Jimmy and the others need help they know how to go about getting it.
  3. That is very strange. I don't think the thread has been moved. When I see it it shows up here..... * StarQuestClub.com * > General Discussion forums * > Just plain ol' B.S. Typically when they are moved they display like this... * StarQuestClub.com * > Moderators Forum * > Moderators Lounge Can you try the search, I just searched Apache and it popped up. Maybe that will be a way to get it to show up? When I go through the BS forum that thread DOES NOT show up for me. When I search it does. UPDATE** I think I got it out of limbo by replying in the thread. I did get several errors when I tried to reply including this one.... Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/starque/public_html/forum/admin/applications/forums/sources/classes/forums/class_forums.php on line 1722 I can see it back in the forum, let me know if you guys can see it now. I don't know where it was stuck but I think I got it kicked back into reality now. **Edde, I can't make you a mod, only admins can do that so you should pander to Jimmy! LOL
  4. This one? http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=114247&view=&hl=apache&fromsearch=1
  5. The problem you will find with other "larger" communities is that they aren't nearly as helpful as the community here. I could only find one decent Jeep site and it still had nothing like what is found here. The Enfield site I frequent is close to the SQ group, but then again it is another relatively small group of people in the US.
  6. It's the natural progression Tim, welcome to my 2005 LOL. Instead of an F-body I did the CJ build. It was sure nice building a vehicle from the ground up and having 99% of the parts out there a phone call away brand new, refurbished or even NOS.
  7. I am amused by the posting. When "150mph on the dash" is included in your advert it may be sending the wrong message. I would automatically assume that this car was well cared for by a competent knowing mechanic who took car of it as it should have been attended to..........
  8. I don't own a SQ, If I did I would only buy from CNM...............
  9. I'm lucky, I work a 4 on 2 off wheel so my Friday can be a Tuesday, or any other day of the week. It did suck when I rolled my car last year, the medics asked me what day it was and I said it was my Friday, only but it was Tuesday (my Friday)... Non-hilarity ensued.... I rarely can tell you what day it is. I can tell you if it is my Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday but days of the week are unimportant.
  10. Why stack all the outdoor furniture in such a small space?
  11. Definitely good for the wife. With a family of seven there were few options out there for us in our price range. I am amazed that there are so few options out there for minivans anymore. I couldn't afford a full size SUV like a Tahoe because here, $15k gets you a 2003 with 80k miles. I guess we are a 100% Mopar family now.. I still love my RAM 1500 Quad cab. averse, Orange is sweet. We actually bought it because of the orange, we learned of 40% of the options after we got it home and played with it. We both drove it a few times around and about before we noticed the backup camera because we were looking in our mirrors and not at the dash or rear window where the collision LED's are. We are super happy with it. We bought the Venture with very few features for more than we got this and it is a stupid space car that locks you in....
  12. Does the camera on my Acer Aspire and Skype count?
  13. So, the head gasket definitely went on the wife's van. Last week I thought I had the heating problem licked and this week it had what I would consider a catastrophic failure. It overheated three times in three days exploding coolant out of the reservoir. So I dumped a can of head gasket fix in it, filled it up and it held together without overheating long enough for it to be worth $3,000 as a trade. We are the proud new owners of a 2008 Grand Caravan spacecar with in dash navigation, rear backup camera, satellite radio, heated seats front and rear, power doors all around, built in inverter, every option besides rear seat dvd (has dash DVD which I have to find out how to enable since it is disabled because of New York state). Basically top of the line wait till all these things break.... It was a great experience. I walked in and said "I will pay you this much for this car". That was at 4:30. After the wife drove it, I filled out the paperwork, we took the old van home, cleaned it out, I returned to the dealer at 6 and picked up the new car. No haggling, no bicker I got it for $15,800. It's got the 4.0 motor and 20k miles on it. It's orange. I'll post pictures as soon as I get a camera. Waiting for the store card to come back from sending in the camera a dropped down the great wall of china, glad I bought that warranty!
  14. I actually like the look of it in person. It doesn't look sleek and sexy in photos but I was impressed standing next to it and the interior is amazing.
  15. For a Porche it is HUGE. I was snowing like crazy yesterday and the roads were terrible so I didn't get to open it up at all. It was very comfortable. To me the Panamera is like driving a 7 series bimmer. It's an expensive car for people who want to have a comfortable roomy Porche. Not the most comfortable car, not the fastest but it can hold its own in both arenas I imagine.
  16. I don't get this I suppose. Why should customers expect your website to work on their computers. If they want to order stuff that bad then they should use whatever you tell them to. If they aren't happy with it then they can take their business elsewhere. That should be your companies business model. Buy it or don't, stop asking questions.

    GPS

I "know a guy" that always updates his maps by downloading them and using a keygen found on the internet. I'm just saying............

    GPS

I've used Garmin both in the US and in other countries with great luck. For deep woods nowhere stuff under heavy canopy I have a 3ft antenna that plugs into the side. It has worked fine so far. I don't think it has ever failed me when I needed it and THOUGHT it should work. Pretty much if it wasn't working I was somewhere that I figured it wouldn't work. This is out with an older (2000? or so) GPSII unit. I've got Nuvi's in all the cars and Garmin city on my winmo phone. I don't have any experience with any other brands though.
