looking for a good motor and/or a whole junk car running for a new project i started. Really would like whole motor top to bottom, im gonna rebuild and want a good running engine to start with(no knocks)

thought ide get some opinions from others as what to do....i have a chance to trade a 94 club wagon van i paid 600 for 5 months ago...used the van for work and parked the jag...i have a chance to trade it for a y59 color code car..the car is a little rough and doesnt have the shp. i know yellows not all that common but how rare is it. I want the car but i dont hell i dont know...i did get it running for him kinda...anyone know of the car? it came from pa and was resprayed with red fenders underneath...what should i do i have 2 now

ok I got my 89 running after its been sittin since after pigeon forge 05'. runs great but i have very little brakes. if you press down and hold it loses pressure fast if you pump you can keep pressure but its still not great and the whole time the brakes barely stop you. I bled all four corners and did get air from drivers side rear and thats all. after I was done I realized I didnt do the abs unit which Im gonna do tonight. there is no fluid leaks and I changed the master cylinder first thing because it was leaking. It helped but still dont wanna stop Also my blowoff valve wont work. I cleaned it and even took a hks one from a parts car and it didnt work either I have the same setup as before the car was parked and it worked fine then

would it fit... I have a 95 f150 that runs great with the 351 5.8 the truck is just so rusted and its served me very well in the woods but dont need it anymore. would the motor fit? is there a dif in block size from the 302? ive got the perfect car for it.

would like these rims gone this weekend. wanted to sell the whole car but i guess ill just hang onto it and sell the rims....16x9 rears center black khumo 255/50 tires with about half tread (1)16x8 front (1)16x7 front with 225/50 falken ziex tires.centers also black w/polished lip. all rims are in excellent shape.. I really need these gone by sunday as im headed north for vacation and suppose to check a car out and i could use the money. prefer pickup but may consider shipping. first come first serve

ive been thinking of doin this for several weeks and im still not sure but id like to see whats out there...id like another starquest and I dont get to ride as much as id like so figure maybe someone would like to get rid of there quest and have a awesome bike. I bought this 1998 CR250R from the original owner who is a good friend, he has always been into MX so the bike is modded for that type of riding. I will also say that when you read "bike was never raced" your just getting a poorly maintained(if at all) piece of junk. I will say this bike has been raced with excellent results and has been maintained to the highest level possable. when my friend owned it the piston was replaced 2-3 times a year. bike is still stock bore! the last was done in middle summer before the broome-tioga race, which he placed 4th after crashing -black plastic on bike comes with red also and a spare front and maybe rear -pro circuit full platinum exhaust on bike also comes with full fmf and stock pipes -6 month old rear excel rim with michelin starcross tire(1 race) also comes with extra front and rear tire used but good to stud for winter -factory connection front and rear suspension also comes with stock front and rear springs -boysen carbon fiber reed valve also stock and maybe a boysen gold series -pro taper bars black on the bike silver in the box also a set of renthals and stockers(if there around) there many other misc. parts that will go to, sprockets, 2 gripper ceet seats 1 stock size 1 thicker foam(brand new, to high for me) bike also has a completely polshed frame. also have 2 yamaha 80big wheels both need top ends. would throw them in for the right car any questions feel free to ask JL121880@aol.com

sorry...sold the strut bar. it was the first item to sell also sold the turbo everything else is still there...rims are basically perfect and ive got some pics if any1 wants to see them

bump Power Steering stuff is all there and in excellent condition someone else emailed me about it but never got back to me trannys still there with under 100k

if you wanna replace both frame rails and the head then have at it...ive driven this car for years and i believe im doing the right thing by getting some of the money thats been sunk into it over the years and getting another...i could just crush it :twisted: im gonna keep the seats cause there perfect and thats really hard to find

looking to trade ONE of my 88-89 5 speed tranny's for a GOOD head...my car was running good but when i went to change the head gasket it seems theres a big crack starting...id like to make a deal as soon as possible so i can get the quest out of the barn Jason_L JL121880@aol.com

fixxed the wrinkles since pic was taken...a little different from what i described originally....redid it without the vent this time...ill either go with another guage or a turbo timer in the space thats left. my climate controll is up near the map lights,ill get pics of that after i wrap it in leather...ill just use old headliners from my parts cars...the leather the guages are in are from a door panel that had a rip http://2.6liter.com/userfiles/Jason_L/IMAG0213MA10139143-0003.JPG

im gonna try to explain what I did as best i can cause i just finished and have no pics...years ago when i bought my 89 the guy had ran wires through the pass. side pillar and through the headliner to were the dome light used to be. he made a mold for the climate cont. and domelights, the climate cont. is at like a 45deg angle facing right at me. well there was always a huge hole in the dash from were the climate cont. used to be, he also took both vents out right there...this left me with a 15"x2 3/4" to work with. i just used a piece of plexiglass that i put in there years ago since it was fitted in there good. i put a hole on the drivers side of the panel for my a/f guage. well i wanted to wrap it vinyl so i proceeded to one of my parts cars, and got a idea while tearing the headliner down. the idea was to put one of those long vents in the liner and put it on the panel. so i cut a opening in the panel for the vent. wrapped it up in the black vinyl, made the relief cuts for the a/f and vent. I am SO pleased w/ the way it turned out, it really looks good to me. I will probably do it again in several months w/ a/f boost and a 3rd guage(not sure what yet) and also place one of the small vents that were originally there...only thing to do now is find a way to direct the vent at the heater to the long skinny one on the new panel...

met him in pa yesterday...awesome guy got a fender and airdam that im happy with...hope he can say the same about the rims....deffinately a good guy

look on the inside of the drivers door....youll see your tire sizes...if it says 245/45 rear and 225/50 front then you have the SHP...if they are 225/50 rear and 205/50 front then you dont and f the knob is still there it faces towards the front, turn your wheel all the way to a side and look under there
